i feel that every animals is good. it depends how they are brought up. If they are taught to fight and be mean they will be because thats all they know. I've written and called my state represenative, represenative yates and many others stating my disagreement with breed specific legislation. I'm working on finding flyers for anti-bsl or templates i can hand out, hang around the community letting people know about the laws ohio is trying to pass.
i have a law proposal. you own any "dangerous breed" you should pay like 10 bucks a year to own it and have 3 or 4 home inspections a year and be required to take your dog to a temperment test once a year. nothing to crazy but it will weed out bad owners and if people want to keep their dogs it will force them to be responsible and train their dogs correctly and also keep them in good conditions. i have 2 pits i love them i dont want shit like this happeneing anymore. its stupid. good vid too

Recently I was speaking to a Youtuber to ask them to speak out against it as well, and though the person didn't come right out and say pitbulls should be banned, the person stated GSDs and Malinois should be banned! I couldn't believe my eyes.. NO breed should ever be banned. It is not hte breed, it is the owners. BSL will solve nothing, and studies and statistics have proven that through and through.

man i agree with you. if you dont know how to control your dog you shouldnt own one. and you need to be able to put your own dog down if it comes to the safety of friends family and neighbors alike. thats why i say make everybody who has a dangerous breed dog get permits and show how obedient there dogs are you muist register your dog with the county you live in i think.

Somehow Pitbulls have become the pitiest victim against public media. They're the only ones which will be reported for dog-attack. By owning my beloved pitbull, I don't think any other breed is worth for me to have. Pitbulls show aggression toward people is totally against their nature; they do attack to protect their masters. I would have no more dogs in my house if my county decide to ban pitbulls.

i feel that every animals is good. it depends how they are brought up. If they are taught to fight and be mean they will be because thats all they know. If they are taught to love and are given love they will be your best friend forever. They are no differnt than humans are. If they are taught to love they will. If they are taught to hate they will. Its all in how you raise anything in life.

I've written and called my state represenative, represenative yates and many others stating my disagreement with breed specific legislation. I'm working on finding flyers for anti-bsl or templates i can hand out, hang around the community letting people know about the laws ohio is trying to pass.

i have a law proposal. you own any "dangerous breed" you should pay like 10 bucks a year to own it and have 3 or 4 home inspections a year and be required to take your dog to a temperment test once a year. nothing to crazy but it will weed out bad owners and if people want to keep their dogs it will force them to be responsible and train their dogs correctly and also keep them in good conditions. i have 2 pits i love them i dont want shit like this happeneing anymore. its stupid. good vid too

Agreed. I don't believe there should be a ban. I just believe very strong laws should be in place for owners of all pets & if someones gets loose & kills or maims, the victim or victims family should be entitled to millions if a human is killed and a very large amount in they are maimed for life. Judges should have that money compensated from there paychecks & or property.

Well the question is which breeds are dangerous? Any dog can be dangerous, pomeranians, Dachshund and labrador retreivers have all killed and all of them have the potential to kill.

Yup. There's cities not very far from me that have pitbull bans. Lucas county is the next county over. It's just so unfortunate. I'm speaking to every bully-ish owner I see. Yesterday spent time educating two people about the proposed pitbull ban and how to speak out against it at a graduation party. :P

It has passed in other countries and states. I'm not so confident. And this is Ohio.. Ohio is completely dog stupid - and there are already restrictions on pitbulls and bans in some cities. In many neighboring counties they are already killing ANY pitbull that comes into the pounds. Our HS tried to do the same before I stopped that. I'm not getting cocky for a second - but doing everything to fight it.

It isn't racism, for a dog is not a race; however, it surely is prejudice, and IMO, prejudice of any kind against any person or dog is wrong. It is very much like the Holocaust, and I even recently wrote a 8 page paper comparing the pitbull to the creature in Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein".

Exactly. Recently I was speaking to a Youtuber to ask them to speak out against it as well, and though the person didn't come right out and say pitbulls should be banned, the person stated GSDs and Malinois should be banned! I couldn't believe my eyes.. NO breed should ever be banned. It is not hte breed, it is the owners. BSL will solve nothing, and studies and statistics have proven that through and through.

Unfortunately we've already had laws against pitbulls. You must have insurance over 100,000 to even own one. I'm doing everything to fight against it, as always, but I fear my efforts will be in vain. Ohio just is not a good state. Not at all.

Thankyou! Please do. Spread the word. Put flyers in your city, put it on Myspace bulletins. Tell your friends. Tell anyone you see with a pitbull. Give flyers to shelters and pounds if they haven't already heard about it so they can spread the word too. I'm leaving information at the Humane society. We CAN'T let this bill get passed.
