Actually, technicly, PAL sets have higher quality.
And the framerate is made to match up with the frequency of the electricity (pretty sure thats how it goes)
if outdoors, by all means use 60, but under flouro lights, i'd use 50

@pixuma well, that's actually pretty interesting, never heard of that before. So you're saying that the light shouldn't flicker when set to 50fps...? I have to find out more about this, thanks.

you're in PAL land... use PAL framerates... not NTSC

@pixuma I know, but why? The resolution is the same, only the framerate is better :). And all the TVs/displays support every standard out there.
