:) I am Iranian, but I can't be proud (or ashamed) of it any more than I can be proud that the sky is blue. What a person has to do with their heritage is not any more than what they have to do with the color of sky.

You can be very HAPPY that you are Iranian but what does it mean to be proud of it? Did you make yourself an Iranian?

Hmm, I like all the usage of the latin alphabet to express you Persian. Perhaps someday Iran can even redevelop it's ancient scripts, at least for a cultural purpose? Nothing wrong with using indigenous scripts is there? Add that to some sort of modern day form of Persian language revival such as when Fardowzi wrote his great works.
