Good question. The north trailhead is on the northeast corner of the intersection of N. Lynn St., Lee Hwy, and the exit from Custis Memorial Pwky (just south of the Key Bridge). From the Rosslyn Metro station, go two blocks north along N. Lynn St. The path will be across the intersection on the right.
The video starts with me heading south from the Key Bridge and taking a left onto the path.

i rode this trail until arlington bridge. it was the most idyllic sunny day with the most gorgeous companion and then i got a flat tyre. then i had to run all the way back to Gtown with the bake in 45 mins, it was the most gruelling thirstwrenching hot day whilst the Sweetie just rode behind laughing. When i finally got back the bootle of water tasted like liquid gold. Beautiful memory
does this trail go in a around or have a turnaround point? any mile markers?
