OMG ... i will preach this until my dying day, from the 1992-93 season up until the 1996-97 season i have never seen a better ALL-AROUND player AT ANY POSITION at BOTH ENDS OF THE FLOOR, OFFENSIVELY & DEFENSIVELY - EVER 2 play the game ... & when u consider who he put this 47 point per4mance on - it's mind-boggling ... will we ever see a franchise center with this skill set ever again ... ? can't believe this was 17 years ago - 17 YEARS, glad i was able 2 witness this greatness ...

Despite this impressive game, to show how great the Center play was that year, Hakeem was only judged to be good enough to make the 3rd TEAM All-NBA team. Roughly 28ppg-11rpg and 3+ blocks per game and only judged to be the 3rd best Center. Couldn't really argue him over Shaq who led the NBA in scoring or DRob led the Spurs to a franchise record 62 wins. And the Rockets didn't even have a impressive regular season overall, even after Clyde arrived.

But the playoffs were a different story...

@FuShengAlex I liked shaq's numbers and david..but this was insane and disrespectful of the NBA..david maybe over hakeem..but in 1993 hakeem had his best year I thought..and did not get it...1995 his numbers were as good as 1994 and he is 3rd team? maybe drobb over him on first team..but no way shaq on the second team..lousey defense puts him behind IMO
