  • V8, return to base immediately!

  • I played this many times on C64... anyway this game sucks a lot because : 1) actual playing field is way too small 2) steering is not convinient

  • This Version doesn't Beat the Classic C64 or Mind.In.A.Box Version of the Song.

  • Damn I found this impossibly tough back in the day. Being the frustrated teenager I was, I think I ended up destroying a joystick over this game lol! I never made it into the city area. Only ever got about 30 seconds in on the first part!

  • I haven't played this version, only the C64 version, but they seem identical as far as gameplay goes. Graphics on the C64 version are slightly better but if you compare the theme songs from this one and C64 it's not that surprising that SID music has so many fans. =)

  • Was this for the 2600?

  • i don't remember, rather not....

  • No, that was for 800XL, and 130XE.

  • I don't think so. 800XL, 65XE and 130XE for sure.

2600 had different games, or at least I had different set. hide 'n' seek for example

  • @zetareticula007 nope, for the XL series

  • When I was a child, between jerking off and trying to beat this game, I could not beat this game! And my joysticks kept breaking!

  • The worst thing of all is to find out just now, that it only had two levels!!

  • haha, i was also surprised ;D

  • it sux that most of the screen is wallpaper what a rip

  • I remember that was one of the hardest games to completion. I think without maps and saves it isn't able to finish it.

  • I was able to finish the two levels, but I had to memorise both maps with a lot of trial and error. Took some hours. To think that with experience, you can win the game in two minutes...

  • yeah...

  • guaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!! I spend lot of time playing this game, and now (20 years later) i`v found that the game have only 2 lvls T_T

  • why did yo have to spoil everything by revealing the outcome of the greatest mystery of all time?:)))

  • haha...sorry :D

  • So, there were only two levels? Incredible! And i spent so long trying to finsish the first one....

  • i also was surprised :)

  • I never could finish this bastard game. I tried for years. I'm sure my dad finished it back in the day. I always got within a few feet of it, then I'd run out of time.

This game was HARD. Kids these days don't know what a hard game is.

  • yea...and in addition, a lot of games in '80 didnt have a "save" mode of game's state, so, i sometimes had to keep Atari turned on through a few days :D

  • YES YES X 100 This was so goddamn hard! And it took only 2,5 minutes to finish it.. Congratulations. You solved the mystery of my childhood!

  • haha "mystery of my childhood" :D...thnx

  • thnx boys :)

  • So it turned out to be a quite short and easy ;). Awesome.

  • Haha, holy shit, that's probably first historical occurence of someone actually finishing this game. Respect!

  • i always had a real slut of a time trying to get past the first level.

  • yea..it was very hard and frustrating game...so, i'm happy i finished it

  • gratulacje! pamiętam ze gra byla ciezka jak cholera :) nigdy mi sie nie udalo

  • OMG, You've one it! I remeber that i used to play it as kid and it was so fucking hard to me... Congratulations :)

  • thnx :)

  • This game was impossible on the C64. I had this on the Atari 800xl too. The music - predictably - cannot compete but it was at least an effort to support the 8 bit Atari.
