and to answer your question about the drop down menu that disappeared...It's called sbsettings... When you upgraded your firmware you unjailbroke your phone. Sbsettings is only available on jailbroken devices.

I've recently upgraded to the 4.3.3 firmware on my iPod 3rd generation. Every time I used to swipe across my status bar a menu would appear that showed things like respringing and shutting off the device. Now, when I have the 4.3.3 update, I swipe across the status bar and no menu appears, is this normal??? Please any help or answers would be appreciated :) good video btw :D

Just look up Rename in Cydia and possibly some other app should come up

and for the 3G, theres an app for that in Cydia too. Just look up 3G and hopefully it comes up.

man i have no idea.. well considering this video is a little over a year old, that could be the problem. there are probably some new sources and apps out there to do the same thing i showed in this video.. sorry about that bro. you could look around to see if theres videos out. If i had an itouch 4G then i would be redoing all these videos and updating them.

If i do recall then it should be a theme that comes already installed when you installed winterboard. but if its not than you could just look in cydia for something related to 'translucent carrier bar'
