@SpazAttack987654321 move your fingers as little as possible (do some exercises like the g major scale slow is okay but keeping your fingers (inc pinky) within 5mm of the strings) other than that its just practice. you can easily be better than Glen (he started age 20!)

is the intro/main riff alternate picking or not? (someone said it is in another video but most 'youtubers' seem to do it with all downpicking, can't see what you're doing though..)

Thanks, mate! Well, I am using both. Alternate and downpicking for the riff. Palmuting the E string everytime with downstroke, and the melody notes (E, D, F etc.) I choose randomly. Sometimes I make harmonics on those notes etc. If it sounds good - it doesn't matter how it's played.

First, learn the chords well. Then, if you're not in music school, try to learn playing from tabs. Play from your heart, play long. At least 8 hours per day. Practice practice pratice! Practice makes perfect!
