Besides the story, behind the Tadzio, is one of the most maligned, mistreated, people that I have ever witness. Bjorn Andresen is one of the kindest most gentle human beings I have ever read about. a combination of the director´s shady intentions and skilled photographers knowing how to enhance beauty technically. Björn simply does not come alive until the brawl on the beach, being forced to stroll through the film expressionless and freeze in unnatural posing.
