If you watch Bill's footage - he is at ease with the audience, he actually takes his time on stage to judge the reaction of the audience and make changes accordingly - I don't think you see many comedians (that are alive) do this. He toured 40 weeks of the year, which probably explains why he is so comfortable on stage.
