Well, after calling the Bahro for rain, I tried to draw the symbols reflected in the water on the slate and what do you know - it took me to the Keep. Without solving any of the real puzzles. That kind of ruined the Age.
think about it, it doesnt have the original members on the team, them there made it. And the atmosphere isnt so good as when the "i-dont-know-the-name-on-brothers" made the first 2 games of Myst
And they should have stayed outside of Cyan. Myst III was the absolute turning point of the series. It was mindblowing. Myst IV, breathtaking! Not quite as good in my books but a great game all the same. Myst V... well, maybe it would have been better if it wasn't in 3D. It just didn't feel like Myst. And the ending, don't get me started. So anticlimactic, and not even a tough puzzle to end it with.
What made III an IV great was the music. Jack Wall did a great job with the orchestra.
Riven is the best, Myst 3 looked wonderful but the story was weak and where was the original Catherine? The new one was so annoying...Myst 4 also looked wonderful but lost the Myst magic completely. I liked 5, it was more like URU, but Atrus with a ponytail???Shame on U.
If you ask me, someone who did the entire series out of order, I prefer myst 3 and myst 4 over Myst, Riven, or End of Ages....the two had awesome puzzles that were hard, but together my mom and I could figure them out, except for 1 that I figured out myself, but Myst 3 and 4 had awesome graphics, music and plot!
Well you see the sign in the right-lower corner of the tablet (I press it in the beginning)?
It is supposed to look somewhat like --(o)-- with (o) being the two circles.
You are supposed to draw that, then the tablet will be put at that location, and you can easily draw it again by pressing the button. All I did was writing Myst V End of Ages and it thought it was that sign. So I filmed the redrawing.
I was bored and simply drew that, and it brought me to up there :P
Since once you have made a sign/drawing succesfully, it is saved, so you can easily redraw it by pressing the small image of it, that is what I have done in the movie (pressing the small image to quickly redraw it).
The gesture system in that game was horrendous. I got half way through one of the ages just doodling some random symbols from one of the puzzles.

Man they had to put 3D chars on Myst V for me Myst IV was THE IT.
O and it wasn't that the puzzels are easyer in V just that some don't make sense!

Myst 5 is nowhere near as good as myst 1,2,3 and 4!! Way too much emphasys on the tablets and too simple puzzles!

Your wrong, to begin with it's Rand Miller and Cyan who made Myst 5, Myst 3 and 4 were the ones that we made outside of Cyan.

I haven't played Myst V yet, and I'm not planning to either.
Part 1 - 4 were all great, but just the trailer of 5 reminded me too much of World of Warcraft.
They should've stayed with the old click-style-game with real-life video's.

Jeah, this Age is bugged. I once drew a sign with rain, but upside down, and Bahro took the tablet in this place. I loaded a game after this :)

Yes, you could repeat it, but if you draw it, you'll draw it a little bit else, so it'll not be recognized.
I pressed the normal sign (you can see in beginning) to redraw it. (if you play(ed) Myst V you already knew that)
