  • Hey Mike, cheers for the info on the sequencer gate. Can't seem to get a dd7 to play nice with the gate (yet a dd6 will with no problems) but your help has been greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

  • What's the DD7 doing? Totally bonking or multiple-triggering?

  • multiple triggering. But not on all of the pads. i've tried all sorts. Altering the voltages to the trigger and to the 4017. Tried different resistances to the different pads. I'd get one pad to behave as it should only to get another freaking out. Then i'd think i had it fixed on all four only to have it start retriggering again as soon as i altered the speed. It's puzzling how the dd6 does none of this. The only consolation with a dd machine is you can atleast assign one sound to two pads.

  • Ah, I was going to suggest adding some resistance but it sounds like you've already tried that.

Maybe try using relays instead of transistors?

  • this is the best variation of the decade counter based sequencers yet. Very cool idea!

I'm still not sure how you solved the no re-trigger issue between steps thought... I have heard of using a nand gate to do it.

  • cool set!!! nice sounds and lights too!!!!

I thought one of our cats walked into your video.

    hahahaah
