technically speaking, in US Macross == Robotech

but Robotech =/= Macross

I liked this game a lot. It showed practically each & every mecha & ship from the Macross series, as well as some pretty kewl new designs. Also, the final boss looked like a Protodeviln 4 years before Macross 7 even aired. It rocks!!! =)

Robotech is a combination of three animes...Macross, Southern Cross and Genesis Climber Mospeada.

Based on that....Macross came first before its being integrated into Robotech.

Macross is an anime in Japan and it along with 2 other Mecha anime were used to create Robotech in america in 1985..

B/c shows at the time didnt allow programs with less than 65 episodes...

Robotech is the only way many pplz became aware of Macross,southern cross and mospeada

Noboru Yamane did the music for this game,and he worked at a development company called Winky Soft, (the developers of this game). It is one of my favorite shotters on the SNES, because I am also a big fan of the Macross series.
