@mjswans The leopard wasn't dying....It got injured at some point meaning it got hurt. Dying implies it was sick or something, which it wasn't. The fact it was never seen again means that it probably got away and just left that territory for somewhere more safe with a decent prey base....The fact that the lions didn't attempt to go after one leopard shows you that it wasn't exactly dying!
@mousavsm What I saw was a leopard doing it's usual thing when lions are around. Hiding in a tree. How does this translate into 'leopard stands his ground'....from a tree?
I realize this video is titled by tiger fans who are jealous of the king of beasts because lions usually win over tigers... but how then does a leopard match up with a lion? Please be real with your comments...It is a waste of time arguing with someone who lies about what is on the video he uploads. That's a sickness.
@mjswans Actually, I think it's well known that Tiger's are the king of the cats.....I'm not getting into this convo because I love all big cats (Tiger's are my favourite and leopards are second) and I don't care for who wins in captivity (it's sick to pit captive animals that have lost their wild instincts).
Fact of the matter is, tiger fans' don't need to be jealous of anything. I've never seen a leopard even attempt to fight a tiger in the wild, but I've seen them fight lions.
@mousavsm Tigers are losers when around lions. Tigers are not kings therefore. Even if you live in tiger country. Sorry to dissapoint you. There is a reason for the lion's title.
@mjswans Lol, I told you I want nothing of the debate between Tigers and Lions.
All the experts know which cat is the most powerful and it is clearly the Tiger. Stop wasting your time because you aren't fooling anyone!
As for what I said, again, you don't even respond to it. How come Leopards always run from Tigers IN THE WILD (I don't talk about captivity because it is cruel bs and the animals are not wild) and yet they sometimes fight a few lions? Tigers are the king of cats, SORRY
@mjswans And by the way, all cats are amazing.....I don't know why you are so defensive of the lion? Why are you so insecure? Lions are beautiful animals and powerful in their own right. However, there is a reason why Tigers kill massive animals alone and Tigers do it with a huge pride. Tigers are more lethal killing machines and Leopards are freaking awesome too. You should learn to love all animals and not be so blinded by your favourite animal!
@mjswans Just go watch the video of the one male leopard taking on 3-4 lioness' IN THE WILD. The leopard shows no fear and actually goes after them after they take his kill. Safe to say the leopard got out without any injury and cut up one lioness pretty damn badly! It's obvious that lions are more powerful than leopards, as it's obvious that Tiger's are more powerful than any of the other cats, so no one is arguing this. But leopards can be FEROCIOUS!!!!
@mousavsm Lions kill tigers. so how is a tiger more powerful? Exceptions aside....leopards don't stand a chance...no matter how ferocious. Please stay in reality. Don't let leopard fantasies cloud your reason. I'm done arguing with blind people. Bye
@lightninganime80 you got that wrong. jaguars have lower chance of killing a lioness but lioness' has a higher chance of killing jaguars. lionesses are 1/2x bigger than jaguars and compare a lioness' head to a jaguar the lioness' head is humungoloid.
leopards are the most fierce? where is ur source ? i see lepards take off from hyenas and lions all day that isnt really too fierce would u say? and many times it was a single hyena
there was a program on nat geo that was about big cats biting power and aggression where animal experts have described an attack from a leopard as getting a running chain saw thrown at you. he mentioned that they are the fiercest of the big cats. leopards "take off" from lions because they are smart. fierce doesnt mean stronger.
it means more aggressive. i have been to africa so i know this from experience. see my channel.
oh and your wrong. i can show you footage of leopards not only fighting off hyenas but also killing them if you like. i included 2. one of them was on the discovery channel called natures perfect predators
@tubeyouthugz You should see the footage on youtube of 1 leopard taking on 3-4 lioness'. He actually goes after them after they take his kill. He goes on his back and fights them all and even cuts one pretty badly on the face. In the end, they are all just laying down together and the leopard picks the right time to take off. While he's laying down after the fight, the lioness' don't even attempt to touch him....
yah i agree. they can stay in the trees until the lions leave, the lions wont stay that long anyway, they have shit to do. eat, mate, protect cubs, mark an defend teritory. etc....
leopard stands his ground, by running up a tree! doh!
should be 'Lions take prey from retreating leopard' or similar.

I wouldn't call "running up into a tree to hide" the same as "standing his ground". But hey, what do I know?

I meant, "and lions do it with a huge pride." Sorry for the mistake.....

wounded leopard? yeah I'd be backing off too

leopards are the most fierce of the big cats. a wounded leopard thats cornered is probably the most dangerous situation for any animal even a lion.

What a stupid commentator. "The leopard cannot stay in the tree forever" Yes it can until the lions dissapers. That would have saved it.
