  • Never realized Worf got beat up that much.

  • Thus, the Worf effect is born.

  • "You can't move because your spine is crushed and you broke 7 of your vertebrae"

Live to get pwnd another day!

  • my cheeks hurt. i lawled so hard

  • the last scene in this video.. is horrendously funny.. I almost died laughing

  • If I ever have to fight Worf, I'm going to get the weakest person I know to go hand to hand with him, while I find something to push over onto him.

  • What a wuss!

  • Worf must be a wrestler, he jobs out so much.

  • 5:47 ....the fuck??

  • Comment removed

  • rofl 3:25 just the look on his face!

  • Coming soon to a TV near you! "Everybody hates Worf!"

  • Worf=Yamucha on a good day

  • Has Worf ever won a fight? I've seen him defeat some Jem Hadar before. that's it.

  • Worf taking his lumps.

From humiliation to humiliation, he's still a hero in his own mind constantly biting off more than he can chew.

    A truly piteous creature.

  • Oh God, I lost it when you switched back and forth with the Klingons poking him with the sticks. Great compilation, and the other vid on YT of him getting "denied" is epic.

  • Is it just me or does Diana Troi pwn Worf a suprisingly large number of times?

  • Worf is toughed...gets killed but lives on and on and on

  • I was on tv tropes where the Word trope was being explained. And I thought to myself, "No, Worf doesn't get beaten that often. This is an over-hyped trope." And then I came here. Almost seven full minutes of Worf getting owned. I mean, holy shit.

  • Poor bastard...

  • Gotta love the Worf effect.

  • His face at 3:26 ! LMAO

  • Comment removed

  • By Deanna too? Damn.

  • To be fair, Data is pretty much the most badass character on that show.

  • oh god this is gold. why do they pick on worf so much?

  • 2:19 to 2:43 what episode is this??

  • @rachelisinsane The beginning of the movie ST: Generations (Worf's promotion to Commander)

  • 4:15 A klingon got his ass handed to him by three of what would be considered the most cowardly and spineless race in the Star Trek universe!

  • @ConstantineChernabog Yeah, when you're the victim of a dogpile, no matter what species, it's kinda difficult to fight.

  • In Soviet Enterprise, they have barrel over YOU!

  • 1:16 Geordi moves the barrel to show how "heavy" it is.

  • I always thought when The Breen repeatedly stun him to be a hilarious moment...

  • 2:44 Worf is just angry because that means he has to bathe...

  • Worf the Klingon teddy-bear in all his "glory."

  • 1:25 . Damn

  • Worf had the flu.

  • 0:12 WHA-- WHOA! Geez, if Worf can't take on Troi then the Enterprise is pretty much screwed. Mind-reading doesn't count.

  • Wow Worf must be made of concentrated diamond matter... Somehow he's still alive.

  • @Armarcsen Agreed. He just suck at fighting, maybe he just need to strategize before jumping on his opponent.

  • He's actually tough. That's why he's not dead after getting owned so much.

  • Press 2 for PWN

  • I yield. I cannot defeat this Klingon. All I can do is repeatedly pwn him; and that no longer holds my interest.

  • When Dr. Crusher tells Worf he can't walk because the container shattered 7 vertebrae and crushed his spinal chord, he's thinking "Only 7? I will be back on my feet in a week."

  • my favourite moment is Worf getting defeated by a door.

  • Someone needs to make a video of people getting freaked out when they see Worf, either because they're from the past and they've never seen an alien, or they just never expected to see a Klingon in Starfleet. It happens like 2 or 3 times a season and in at least one of the films.

  • wow... even the Enterprise itself pwns him XD

  • Okay, Troi giving Worf the wristlock of DOOM wins this video for me.

  • The Proud Klingon Warrior in action!

  • Man, what does Star Fleet medical insurance NOT cover, cuz right now I'm thinking of getting signed up!

  • man klingons can really take a beating!

  • You've got to think, at least midway through the series, he's probably developed a masochistic tendency to willingly get smacked by barrels/zapped by electrical torture rod things. xD

  • And this guys supposed to be some sort of badass why?

  • Never realized he was such a wuss.

  • I thought Klingons were supposed to be epic warriors.

  • "He just collapsed, sir"

  • I mean for fucks sake, at 4:20 the ear bastards (fereangi i think?) dropped him on his ass! i don't remember much of the show but i do remember them and their puss-douchery..seriously, who gets taken down by those intergalactic barnacles

  • Personally, i think if i was creating a fictional universe, i'd wouldn't have the main character of a 'warrior race' of space Spartans to not have a dick-headed, pom-pom bowl haircut..that's likely what led to his pitiful efforts at security, as well as the lack of any intimidation whatsoever.

  • The best part is around :30 where he doesn't even get physically attacked by the Big Bad, and is just KO'd upon the crews entry.."he..just collapsed.."

    Worfed indeed.

  • I AM NOT A MERRY MAN!!!

  • 4:03 Stabbed in the guts, dead in 2 seconds. xD Aww and I wanted to see Westley get skewered too! :(

  • Well. At least he had some fun during the Battle of DS9.

  • Also, at 2:10, on the left that's Patricia Tallman!!

  • 3:00 Crazy Princess Leias

  • @Sismiques

Is it just me or do the DS9 scenes stick out like hell and seem more cinematic?

  • @Usul573

    Could be.

  • @Sismiques

    Say what?

  • did anyone else notice that cameltoe @ 1:30 ? damn sexy <3

  • *Sees Troi knock the phaser out of his wrist, sent flying.*

    FOR SHAME

  • 6:02 Since when does Jerry Seinfeld work on the Enterprise?

  • FFS wharf could get beaten in a fight in a holodeck if the safteys were on

  • The thing is, Worf was the tactical officer and head of security for most of the series... he would naturally be the guy most likely to be in danger...

The funny thing though. In season 1, Worf was the Science Officer. Now that's a job that just doesn't seem right for a klingon.

  • What a clumsy person! xD

  • How the hell did he survive all this???

  • @LughSamildanachXVIII

Klingons are tough, I think they have an extra heart and three lungs and stuff.

  • the best 2:12

  • I never realized until i watched this, that Worf was just a scary punching bag!

  • the music at 6:30 is so old school

  • Worf OWNED Garack in that fight.

  • I wag giggling until he got completely owned by Deanna, at which point I burst out laughing.

  • 0:12 I believe after what the woman did to Worf, he should be largely enamored of her.

(I'm a newbie to the Star Trek series, I wouldn't know who she is. I'm still on The Original Series.)

  • Nipple twister! My favorite.

  • ,,HE JUST COLLAPSED'' Worf's live in 3 words.

  • Thumbs up if TV Tropes sent you here

  • "GRAWWAARRFFF GROAAARRR GAAAARRrRR!!!!"

    "no no NO With EMOTION!"

    "GWAAAAAAARRRRR!! GREWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAARRR!!!!!! AAARRRRRRWWWWWWRRRRRRR!!!!"

  • Now I'm curious, does Picard win more fights than Worf on the entire TNG show?

  • soooooo many plots from TNG involved enterprise crew members being possessed or taken over somehow, and turning on the rest of the crew. when you put them all together it makes the writers look just plain lazy

  • @windfish113 haha that or alternate realities, if you had all the episodes on random i bet it'd be only 1/30 that weren't one of those 2 themes..but i still remember being entertained..

  • Okay, that bit with Troi is absolutely hysterical out of context!

  • Ladies and gentlemen, the great Klingon warrior Worf!~

  • I guess this is why "The Worf Effect" is named after him. Damn, Worf got pwned in TNG, DS9, AND the movies!

  • @MathcoreShuppet

    It got better in DS9..

  • @Joeybsmooth

It also got visibly darker in DS9

  • The "Worf Effect" in action.

  • You think at some point he'd get better at this ...

  • I feel bad for him, all he wants to show his worriorness and honor but he epicly fails all the time! When I see him fight, I always get a major face-palm!

  • @planetary109

He does get a bit badass here and there.

  • i guess he came to DS9 to relax

  • Maybe they should have called him Wuss

  • Haha! I love TNG!

    Deanna = Captain Obvious.

Riker = Gets all the women.

Worf = Act tough but then gets his ass handed to him.

Geordi = Most unlucky guy in the universe.

Data = Gets overtaken by other lifeform/gets "virus" or some shit and goes apeshit on the crew OR is the one who saves EVERYONE.

    Wesley = SHUT UP.

  • Data 6:30

    *pimp-slaps Worf*

    ^_____^

  • Worf sucks as bad as O'Brien XD

  • Wait, what? When did Worf get his spine shattered into some Klingon gravy? What episode was that? How didd they fix it?

  • @ChristopherDone "Ethics" Ep 5.16

  • I like how force fields are used as PRISON DOORS in the world of Star-Trek (think about that for a second), but they haven't thought to use forcefields to stop heavy shit from falling on hapless Klingons?

  • You'd think he get used to it by now.

  • So much for Klingon "warriors".

  • It had to be the black guy...

  • Comment removed

  • Seven people were merry men.

  • The Worf effect is well documented... bit it's still amazing how many times Worf gets his ass handed to him *by crew members*.

Regardless of wether they're under the Monster of The Week's influence or not.

  • From what I've seen here, Worf's tactics in the arena are exactly the same as Homer Simpson's when he becomes a boxer. Eventually they will just get tired, and then...

  • BY AN ELEVATOR

  • Holy cow.

Six minutes of footage, with Worf getting p'wned every 3 seconds?

I suck at math, but /why/ is he their designated badass?

  • I was laughing hysterically the entire time I watched this.

  • shit, i never noticed how much they beat worf up

  • And he keeps trying :/

  • 1:20 Yeah! Let's move this barrel that's not touching him so I can get into a position I would have been able to get in even if the barrel was there! :D

  • you can make a drinking game outta this

  • @HyperKadaj You'd die of alcohol poisoning before you finished watching season 1.

  • Shit, even Troy, the useless psychic chick, can totally disarm him and toss him across the room. That's... That's so pathetic it's sad.

  • @russetwolf13 That wasn't *really* Troy. It was an alien who was using Troy's body to communicate with the Enterprise.

  • @TaintedMustard How did that make her strong enough to take down a trained (allegedly) warrior twice her size? I'm betting Space Magic, also known as SCIENCE! You know that SCIENCE, always doing things.

  • @russetwolf13 Don't ask me. I never said it made sense. It wasn't a very good episode.

  • The video should have ended with the 'he just collapsed' bit.

  • what the heck is data on that got him all gassed up.

He looked downright scary towards the end.

  • 4:56 could have sworn i just heard worf say the N word

  • LOL

  • I'd just like to point out that in the scene where Worf is getting brutalised by the Jem'Hadar (5:10 to 5:47) he had fought and beaten seven other Jem'Hadar previously and had barely any medical attention or time to recover in between each one. Worf suffered his effect a lot less in DS9.

  • 1:43 Um...you can't repair a broken spine in the 24th century?

  • 1:06 Random barrell for the win

  • TV Tropes. :D

  • How did Micheal Dorn ever put up with this kind of character abuse?

  • I felt so much for worf that I already just wanted this to end around 1:25.

  • Commander Worf's medical records show that he spends 68% of his on-duty hours unconscious.

  • how many times he dies?

  • I hope starfleet has a good healthcare plan.

  • ROFL, poor Worf :(

  • What a pussy.

  • why is the series this epic and the movies THIS stupid?? its so unfair

  • TNG & DS9 forever!

  • Not all that great. Only the ends of certain fights should count...most of that was just any good hit he took. pwnage only applies to defeat. If you get your ass kicked and still win, you were not pwned.

  • I never realized how much Worf actually got his ass kicked in TNG.

  • Worf is Krillin!

  • @highwind8124 Not even close...Worf took just about as much punishment (save being blown up), and never needed any damn beans to bring him back...and only a couple of "wishes" when he actually did die. I'd say that Worf could kick Krillin's ass...but that's like saying my grandmother could conquer France, I mean, who couldn't conquer France?

  • @OriginalTharios

I don't know. They could start hitting you with their baguettes.

  • Deana = greater than Worf.

  • Worf got pwned by a sliding door.

  • Worf should have been the ships janitor instead. He makes a lousy security chief, he always gets pwned.I never understood how the Klingon's ever managed to to travel at warp speed through space. They are not a intelligent race of aliens. They are very savage and barbaric, they are very much like bronze age humans. An alien race that savage and barbaric would Never be intelligent enough to travel through space, that was one of many things so extremely un-realistic about Star Trek.Anyway good vid

  • @GenericChristJesus I got the impression that the Klingons just had an elaborate and complex social system that combines elements of occupation, endogamy, culture, social class, tribal affiliation and political power; A caste system.

I think there was a DS9 episode that addresses your very point. Also, isn't there an episode where a future version of Worf's son [Alexander] said he didn't become a warrior like his father wanted?

  • @Pgaither84 That I don't know about. He may have. I remember on an old episode of TNG Worfs son saying he didn't want to be a warrior.

  • @GenericChristJesus I thought that as well, but came up with a couple of explanations. Maybe the "warrior class" is kept separate from the "thinking class". The technology is designed and constructed by one class and used by another. Or maybe there was a time when the planet was more scientifically guided, but cultural and governmental changes brought about this more warrior-like movement.

  • @GenericChristJesus There technology was given to them (or stolen from)by the Romulans.

  • If I was him, I'd take a karate class, or two...

  • This is what bieng around Humans a lot does to a Klingon.

  • lol one of his characteristics is that he can take a lot more damage than a human

the writers loved to use that as a plot device

    poor worf

  • Worf's supposed to be this badass Klingon warrior? I've seen better fighting skills from a Ferengi.

  • You know, For someone who is supposed to be one hell of a fighter, he sure does get his ass handed to him over and over again.

  • thinly veiled racism

  • Jeez, that Worf character sure spent a lot of time sprawled out on the floor, or being thrown over chairs.

  • Yea, the STNG fight scenes were shit. It's what happens when you hire your kids grade school coach as your fight co-ordinator.

  • this video is fantastic, I had no idea!

  • WOW! I never realized what a clumsy, dumb-ass, pussy Worf really was. Chuck Norris is way tougher.

  • "Security to Sickbay, Hurry!" I'm sure the writers of TNG wanted to add: "Worf is getting his ass kicked! Again!"

  • Lol.. how did Worf get the Chief of Security job again???

  • Maybe he does need a chair on the tactical console.

    A wheelchair.

  • This is blatant example of how the star fleet media protrays Klingon Americans.

  • The Worf Effect in action!

  • 1:00 why is the cargo bay full of so many empty boxes?

  • Damn this guy is always getting fucked up.

  • For a warrior species he isn't very nimble.

  • Poor Worf. That's the problem with being the resident tough guy on a show, you have to fight every nigh-invincible thug of the week and get owned to prove that they are indeed the nigh-invincible thug of the week.
