If you're a racist for criticizing their violence and oppression, are the Africans who persecuted European settlers also racists? The Africans who fought back are not called racists, neither are the native Americans who did the same. It seems 'racist' is a synonym for a westerner who doesn't submit.

Many Europeans are against Israel, but they don't want Islamic law, and are therefor not Islamists. All words have been made up some time in history, the importance is how the word/term is defined and used by the mainstream. @Uncle99B The Israelis/Jews actually lived in Israel/Palestinian for thousands of years before the Quran was written.Whether the current Palestinians or Israelis are the 'natives' depends on how long a people need to live in place to be classified as the original population. As I've already told, Islamism is the political interpretation of Islam. Islamist doesn't mean someone who is against Israel. Democrats, Socialists, Fascists etc. can also be against Israel.

@Uncle99B There is evidence that the Ashkenazi Jews originated form the Middle East. About half of the current Israeli population are Mizrahi Jews, who also comes from the Middle East. But the state of Israel doesn't have any right to discriminate, as many of the current Palestinians also are descendants of the people who lived in Israel at the same time as the Israelis. Therefor, Israel should be a non-religious state, where both groups and cultures/religions can exist.

Israel should be a non-religious state, where both peoples and cultures can co-exist. Palestinians and Israelis/Jews should have the same rights, but the Israeli government have completely screwed everything up, and should not get support from the West before they ensure equal rights and no discrimination.

And one other point. Nothing the terrorist factions have done is right, but again, there's a bird's eye view perspective. No different than we might think that the Hadith and the Koran are perpetuating this issue, the people carrying out these attacks believe that fundamental principles in OUR culture are promoting the murder and destruction of their people. As radical and disturbingly vindicated as these people are, it should be more difficult to forget that there is a catalyst than it is.

As far as the argument on "what a true Muslim is" I think it's important to look at it from a birds eye view of religion as a whole. One could easily make the argument in the same fashion that, because of what the Bible says, that a true Christian is committed to raping the virgins of any culture that loses in war to them, or caging their women during their period, and purifying them through crude rituals. And some of those verses could be drawn from New Testament faith....

The comment that most Muslims are peaceful is misleading. A true Muslim is commented to killing infidels (non-believers in Islam) to the extent possible, as Mohammad so ordered. People need to understand this (particularly our political leaders and security agencies). The truly extreme Muslim (in relation to the teachings and example of Mohammad) is the one who is peaceful.

Many (not all) muslims woldwide feel free to think and say these things, even indoctrinating their children with this hate and bloodlust, but they freak over political cartoons that were fairly truthful and comparitively mild.
