Nice work on the money bag! I like that you included some Canadian currency. I also liked that your US currency was mostly small bills. Thanks for the video!
@TheUrbanPrepper The Canadian stuff is mostly just because I found the coins over time. I thought logically about what denominations of currency I wanted to carry. I've realized that most places do not even take 50's or 100's currently. They definitely will not take them in an emergency.
@Instucablanator Silver for me is an investment option. While I don't have a lot of silver it has over doubled in value since I got into it. I say, in a little over two years having a less than $300.00 investment go to well over $750.00 is not bad at all.
@revisualize not bad indeed, I too have investments of precious metals (gold, silver platinum) that have greatly increased in value, some of witch I got 100% free from recycling electronics. But why keep in in an emergency kit? I mean I have a bit of gold in mine but I would keep such a large amount because chances are in a SHTF situation it will be next to worthless just like paper money..... I guess in a less sever situation it could come in handy.......
@Instucablanator My bag is not just for an emergency situation. It is also for 3 to 5 day backpacking trips and always packed.
Too many people get fixated on global, national or regional ie "SHTF". What about very localized issues? Let's say my neighbors apartment catches fire? Not just in the same building but adjacent building. Forbid, my own apartment.
I want to have it in my emergency bag because that is what I am going to be grabbing and throwing out of my third story bedroom window.
