Distortion was overdrive 2 on avt100, but i havent got that tone since i recorded this video cause i dont remember eq settings.

I've got an epiphone and I think they are slightly better than vintages and I just love the quality of it it feels great really nice beefy neck and the tone is amazing I do like vintage but I wouldn't get one.

I think that they`re both pieces of shit. It depends what epi you have cause v100 is definitely better than studio or special, but maybe im wrong, anyways gibson is still the right way to go :D Rock on !!!

@56relic I hope this helps but that's not a Gibson, It's a vintage v100 which only cost around £200... They are dead cheap, and in my opinion better than epiphones any day! They are seriously good for the price!

That is truly awesome tone & timing. I've a V100 but can't get it to sound like that. I've a Fender 185 Pro amp(not valve) connected to a line 6 POD & the standard Wilkinson pickups. Is it the Seymour Duncan pickups or the Marshall valve amp that got you the tone ? ? What do you have the volume & tone pots on the V100 neck pickup set to ? ?

Thanks! I think both amp and pickups were important to get that tone. Volume was set to max and tone was around 1-2 maybe.

Hey man... you're in the right way to perform Slash's style. I've noticed your gear is fine but there are only 2 things I'd recommend: 1). You have a RP500, please turn on the REVERB, it's a great multiFX and could give the part of the sound that you need to fill that solo. 2). practice a little more the second part of the solo, then record yorself again and upload here.... you will find the difference, keep playing man, you are good
