<3 the E.L.F. palettes :) The mirror is SO nice and big. Easy to see your face when applying. The little "brightening eye color" (quads) are nice too. They don't have a mirror but 4 colors for a dollar is awesome! Could you use one of them in a video? Thanks! Love your videos!

Hi Becki,

(as a painter) Upright in a container is both the best way to dry and store. Although lots here recommend drying flat (i have been trying this and it works REALLY well imh;o) Try a brush roll. There's one avail at Michael's that's super inexpensive (and it comes w/20 taklons)

Great vid Em! I so agree with the plastic organizer bins. One thing I didn't hear you mention & I thought I'd throw out there is. Taking some clear polish to coat the number/names on the brush handles, this is great so it doesn't wear off & you'll know what brushes you already have if you are starting or maintaining a collection. that organizer is how I store my makeup too, it makes it easy for doing my face everyday as I have organized the drawers as to the order of how I do my face, etc.. it is a great idea, and keeps everything organized and handy and not having to search in my bag all the time. Love all the make up!!! it is nice to see all these other people on here that we all have the same like, makeup!!!!

I use a tall six drawer jobbie for all of my stuff...with a train case on top for all my bare minerals. For my brushes I bought a long rectangular basket and filled in with various sizes of glass beads that I got at Michaels for 25 cents a pack. The beads are rounded at the edges so for anyone who's worried about scratching the handles this is perfect! Love your videos!

Thank you! As I get more in my collection I am rearranging everything. I use votive candle holders to hold my brushes. It is an easy way to separate them into the different uses. I don't have a vanity. I have small shelves in the bathroom.

i organize my makeup in a sally's beauty supply cart. i found it at a garage sale. it is one of those black ones with the sliding drawers that beautician's use for hairproducts and curlers, etc. it works great ...i can put my makeup, curling irons, and hair products in it. just a suggestion.

My life dosen't function w/o organization ;) I have my makeup organized, my clutches, my handbags, jewelry, you name it......I found a 50s tortoise acrylic box purse at a flea market and I use it for my makeup when I travel! Sooooo cute!!!

if you buy the febreeze candles you can clean them out with hot water after you burn down the candle and they hold eyeliner/mascaras and brushes perfectly!

Hey Emily!

I just reorganized my make-up and that included purging as well (oh the horror!). I think purging is a big key as well because make-up does go bad.

For my organizing needs, I have some of the same things you do mixed in with some acrylic holders from The Container Store. A little more pricey but they will last forever.
