Kuro OC Speed Paint (SAI)

What size canvas do you use and which brush? I"m trying to figure out why the fuck my line art is so fucking pixelated.

I usually use an 800x800 canvas. It would take forever to list my settings but no matter how I try, my pen lines are soooo pixelated D:

They don't look smooth.

@TangibleShadow i usually use 2000X2000 now, this is an older video which i used a smaller canvas. make the canvas as big as you need it, that makes for better prints and better quality. besides, you can always shrink the picture after. that's probably one reason why it might look pixely XD also customize your settings or change the edge sharpness of the pen. that should help. I use two different pens for line art, which are both customized :D good luck dear ^-^

@Glitcher2000 i agree with Kotori. The artist can put any kind of music they want. Why would you pay more attention to the music than to the art? They spent a lot of time and effort in this piece just to have someone dislike it for the music? Really, if you dont like it, mute it and listen to your own music or just dont watch the video.

A speed paint is not an action video, so playing heavy metal in the background is like having Metallica accompany a ballet of Swan Lake. "Match the concept", my ass. You have no idea what music appropriate for the tone of a video.

@BloodestNK Of course not, but music that fits the character must also fit the video. If you were painting Batman for example, you could have bombastic brass to fit his action scenes or brooding bass to fit his dark persona. The latter would also fit a speedpaint video while the former would not. KotoriOtome21 utterly fails to choose a track that matches the painting as well as the character, and as such the music ruins the video.

@Nlth92 aww thank you dear!! u do too? lolol awesome! Use the "selection" tool that looks like a square, its next to the "magic wand" and "lasso tool". Select the part you want to crop & keep, and while the little lines outlining it are moving....go over to "Canvas" which is next to "layers" and "edit" and choose the option "Crop by Selection" and that should do it!^^ hope i answered ur question XDD
