When your hopping trains. Are there any motion detectors on the freight cars to let the enginner or train crew that someone is inhabititing the car? Like how do some people get away with it and being on a train for like 10 hours straight. I guess you have to know your stuff.
@HamiltonTrainMan it doesnt take much to hop a train... the trick is to find the schedules and know where they are going... the most dangerous part of it is avoiding the train cops when they pull into the yards ! ! ! if you meet up with the 'regulars' (hopefully the good ones) they can tell you where you can shower and eat.

@RRmenu it seems to be close to impossible to find any of the 'right' ideas since most of the hobo community is secretive(or too poor to own a camera). The crew change doesn't really give you much in the way of tips even if you have a 2010 edition. Really the only way to learn to hop seems to be to actually do it, and if you don't happen to live in a major city so you can go with an experienced rider you're pretty fucked.
