I knew Gary had been a boxer, but I thought just like Paddy Considine and possibly Tom Hardy and even myself - meaning simply an amateur boxer. I had no idea he had hit such heights as a boxer until just now when I was reading about him on IMDb. I mean wow, he's done professional boxing, modelling and acting in some decent roles with one fantastic role in particular in Dead Man's Shoes.

Well, nothing bad about losing to Eubank - the guy was a machine. I had no idea Gary Stretch used to box - I probably watchted this fight live at the time too (on TV of course). Whatever happened to the Eubanks and Tyson's of the world.

Dan Sherry was a spoiling wind-up merchant and I'd have loved to nut the muppet. Although I'm a BIG BENN fan, on this night the atmosphere was electric...I was sat one row back just to the right of Eubanks' corner, worth every penny...apart from the bet on Stretch to win...DOH!
