@blowtar You're comparing this to a sitcom. They do add some canned laughter to a sitcom, but most sitcoms are filmed in front of a live audience, so it's not all canned.. This show was genuinely funny and one snippet taken out of context cannot be compared to a half hour sitcom full of one-liners.

I was ROTF watching this episode. You can't judge an entire culture by what *you* think isn't funny. Bye the way if it's only the US who has no sense of humor why does the UK buy our shows???

As for Sheen, I dunno, he always seems to come off as a bit too cocky and self-assured for my taste. He's seriously lacking in humility or that salt-of-the-Earth quality that I traditionally associate with Welsh folk. Seems more like a stuck-up Londoner who'd bash into you on the Tube and just keep walking. It's a bit of a turn-off.

He came to open a new exhibition in the museum in his birth town and spent a long time talking to people, signing things, taking photos and eating cake with us all.
