I think historians were more politically independent at those times. Whereas after 1945 Albania was completely isolated and not much was done in the scientific community of the world, while Serbia and Greece begun rewriting history (more Greece because Serbia's stories don't hold ground in west)

I think historians were more politically independent at those times. Whereas after 1945 Albania was completely isolated and not much was done in the scientific community of the world, while Serbia and Greece begun rewriting history (more Greece because Serbia's stories don't hold ground in west)

Did you know the fact that official Serbian office in Vienna in 19th century was called Ilyrian office? Do you even know who true Ilyrs are? When a nation doesn't agree with it's government, that nation protests. u did no such thing, therefore u share a part of that responsibility.
The foundation of Albania in 1912 was based on people (what nations are made of). Albanians had nothing in common with the Turks, hence the independence. That's why Kosovo should be independent as well.
When u expanded ur kingdom to Kosovo etc, Albanians were living there and they spoke albanian... way before ur churches were build in those lands.

I really couldn't tell you coz I am not from Kosovo, I'm from Albania, but I think it's only normal for Kosovans to react the way they did after 200+ years.
Look... I honestly believe that Serbs that live in Kosovo (10% of population) have been there all their life, which in a way makes it their home but...
