Nobody expects a ban, just rules. Dick Cheney and his agenda paved the way for a free for all. As sure as the sun will come out tommorow lives will be shortned. "small amount of chemicals"... Sure, it's small in percentage. But enormous in overall volume. IE: I will feed you free soup everyday! That soup will only contain 2% cyanide, but it's free!. Would you be good with that?

@deweys No seriously, its a small amount of chemical. Its a fraction of a fraction of a percent of the total fluids. Usually its just a friction reducer so the mixture flows better, and from what I seen so far it is not easily soluble in water. Its a really stringy gel like substance. The other chemical is one that makes the mixture thicker, thats it.

@deweys That's exactly the problem. There are some actual numbers (in gallons) of how much of which chemicals are actually being used and how much that will increase over the next five years. It looks like a lot of blowback for only 14 years of fuel.

There have been no deaths or serious injuries to anyone due to hydro fracking but people want to ban it ?? Insane. I have seen a lot of this on youtube. Most of them promoting the ignorant ass movie Gasland.
