Heavy needs help with missing textures

Thank god, I thought I was the only one getting this problem. Pretty much every custom map I have suddenly has map leaks, missing textures and errors everwhere. Since when have you had this problem? I've had it since about October/November 2011.

@TheGentlemansShadow I've had it since I got Gmod. Which was sometime 2010 I think. The problem was fixed once I bought CS:S

Under steam, right click on Garry's Mod and hit Properties

Go to the Local files tab and choose Verify integrity of game cache...

@Danthepest1 That explains a lot. Lots of Gmod maps use CS:S items. It's worth getting CS:S, at least for that.

It might be you're missing whatever game the texture is from. That is usually the case. check what is required for a map in the description.

@Embrodak01 thing is that most of the times, the descriptions don't really provide any useful information.
