Apparently my grandfather used to count the pairs of notes after the run on 'e'...there have to be 6 pairs of e-flat and e and he'd yell..."too many" or "too few" at my mother when she was a kid LOL. Now she's obsessive and made me too. :)

Thanks so much for all of these tutorials Andrew! I've been racing through them obsessively and got to this one within a week. I can play Fur Elise accurately at moderato tempo after a few hours' practice. I haven't practised my scales properly yet, so I'm sure I'll have to return to some of the earlier videos to practise some more. But just spending a few hours playing Fur Elise means that I can now tap my 5th to 2nd fingers on my desk like a galloping horse - I could never do that before! :-)

Where did you get your book/ music? I have book and know how to play the first easy part (e e flat over and over) but it feels incomplete when I play it with just the part I know. So back to the beginning of my comment where did you get your music?

Not sure if someone pointed this out already but your part at 20:40 is wrong....you went from C-G-C to B-G-B for the left hand...its actually suppose to be C-G-C to G-G-B ....You PLAYED it correctly in the next section....but the part at the time i gave was incorrect :)

Bar 8th. Your score (mine as well) shows DCE. Some times you play that way but some times you play ECE. I have seen many people doing this and I've also seen different scores some showing DCE and some others ECE. Why is that? What way is the original? I know DCE is more appropriate for the ending but I wonder why it is show a the end of the first part too. (8th bar)

@silent2009 He is a teacher. Teaching is not only about giving straight forward information. Many of us have follow through all his lessons. Obviously you are not one of them for you would be more understanding and respectful. Also consider that he is trying to teach a wide variety of students at once. So it is fine if you are such a quick learner but others are not, and others enjoy the fact that he tries to make his class more fun and relaxed with his jokes and spontaneousness.
