one thing, though.

You will almost never see a muzzle flash on a rifle, and if you did, it wouldn't be any where near that big.

@yellowmadness54 Actually there is always a flare most of the time camera's just don't catch it because it's not high speed enough. Muzzle flashes also make it look cooler imo

um, make a really, really small line like 0.8cm long. add it to animation... color it brass color... you're done!

of course you can do it the hard way and try to make it detailed but i don't see the point of it because it flashes out only for like 2 seconds

Turn on "static." click on a line (in "create figure") and click the line with an x and an o at the ends, like x-----o. then it'll go grey and won't move

File > create new stickfigure

make a small line

add to animation as "casing"

make the casing fly out of the gun (in frame 1, put it near the gun, in frame 2, put it slightly farther away, in frame 3, put it farther away still, etc.)

gun blast? you make your own! :D

it's not that hard really, you can just make a puffy cloud or a spiky bush and then have it emanate from the tip of the gun's barrel

also i'm not sure where the piv file for this tut went, my laptop sorta went ninja on me several weeks ago

o noes it's not hard to make. it doesn't even have to be pointy! if you see an actual weapon firing in real life sometimes the muzzle flash is actually sort of a deformed, round, ovalish, bumpy shape. So just make a bunch of thick lines branching off the orange one in different directions in sort of an oval shape and change it to suit your tastes.

also i personally do not like taking from droidz because only noobs on youtube have been known to do such things (as we as giving no credit)

Yes, I agree that Flash is in some ways much more "flexible" than pivot. There are some moves in Xiao Xiao that cannot be recreated in Pivot, e.g.
