Russians are so real and expressive when they play! Real alive people who feel and not afraid to show their feelings through music. Bravo! I amso pround of my people! Great musicians. Don't get me wrong, I respect others too. I am just proud of my people when they do well. :)

-Cellist looks like a PIG !...He wastes the other ones whole performance with his insane smiles' game, n' that lazy-mellow playing Though, Georgi Cherkin & his young turner ('sister?) are fine, cute & already get a clever attitude, a professional behavior = genuine interpretation (equal for violins ) !
Are you kidding me? The cellist is wonderful. I think you are somehow missing the intensity of his playing, The entire performance is magnificent. Seriously, your comment seems as if it comes from someone with a fundamental lack of musical understanding or appreciation. Maybe it does.

I think you are confusing the reason behind the cellist's mannerisms. Did it ever occur to you that he might be smile because me might actually be having fun? Also, if you have ever been involved in a string quartet or piano quintet, you would certainly know that if in the middle of the performance you make eye contact with one of your colleagues, you both couldn't help but to smile. Also, I think you are confusing his "lazy-mellow playing" for a state of relaxation and control.

@b00kn00k If you have the score, it is supposed to be in cut time, so everything is 2 times fast. I hope that answers your question. :)

lol i like how the cellist has this funny smug look on his face
the tempo slows down when it becomes more melodic, which shouldnt happen so much because it makes it feel like the music lags
and theyre not together in some places, probably because of nerves
but all in all a very spiffeh performance! i liked it more than i did a lot of the other vids of this on utube. 5/5!
