Castle Rock on the Verde River North Phoenix Arizona

I spent a lot of time there, off-roading, swimming, and enjoying a few beers. I used to jump off of Castle Rock all the time. Even back in those days, the water was pretty shallow and your feet would sink into the mud. Once I jumped off naked, ha.

we used to camp and fish that spot all the time. Has since become overrun with people who just dont respect nor care for the area. Diapers and bottles everywhere :(

Hi, I to remember people actually jumping from castle rock but not any more. The water is very low and there is alot of brush but for the most part castle rock is a very cool place as long as you dont visit on a weekend. Thanks for the coments and views, I spent a bit of time watching your Sedona video seeing as I got married up there.

WHere exactly did you have the ceremony in Sedona? Outside somewhere at a park? WHere? My daughter said she wants to get married up there but I wouldn't know about how to go about it. Just curious where you guys got hitched there?

We got married at Saint John Vianney Catholic church and party was at the enchantment resort. I DID NOTHING TO PLAN IT... NOTHING. But it was a blast

Thanks for sharing... It's been a long time since I have been there. Does the water not flow next to the rocks anymore? I remember it being so much deeper where people would jump from the cliffs! Mark
