I'm so surprised these young ladies talk about HIV-AIDS and going to the moon, yet they seem oblivious to the fact that the current research for spinal cord injury and paralysis is on the verge of solving their own problem. It seems like they ignore the advances and hard work on paralysis and readily accept their lives as being in a wheelchair forever and just enjoying all the little challenges along the way. I wish they'd join the "cure" movement and lend a voice for additional publicity.
I wonder if the they understand the irony of four women sitting in a wheelchair talking about a cure for AIDS, when research and animal studies show that a cure for spinal cord injury is within our reach.
Positive thinking is a very good thing, but positive thinking can't cure spinal cord injury or the secondary issues attached to it.
They talk about making the impossible possible, going to the moon, ending AIDS etc..
But they don't even mention ending paralysis... if they would the imapact could be significant, but here they likely will have an impact in the opposit direction. Living with paralysis it is a constant struggle. A cure for paralisys is a human righ. C'mon "Push Girls" push for a cure, don't just celebrate life with paralysis!

A really independent life when living with Spinal Cord Injury is an utopia.
Accessibility, quality of life programs and rights for people with disability are important but don’t solve the our problem.
What can really make a difference for people leaving with SCI is a real biological “CURE”.
Spinal Cord Injury must become curable!
