I'm really looking forward to Matt's debut. I feel he's a little young for the role, but considering how Peter Davison was only two or three years older when he played the doctor, I still think he could be great.

Me to. But Peter Davison had the same situation as Matt Smith does right now. Peter was the Doctor after Tom Baker one of the best Doctors left. Its the same with Matt Smith taking over after Tennant left.

Undoubtedly, the new logo will definitely take some getting used to, but it's not that bad. Definitely reminiscent of the old-skool Who, but with a more modern twist. Not too bad editing, either.

Where did the DW tardis come from? Can't say it's my favorite thing, but I like it because it evokes memories of the late third doctor early fourth logo that was shaped sort of like the tardis viewed from below (I.E. A BIG BLUE DIAMOND!) :P

improve the name font/size, cut the doctor pic, get rid of the DW Tardis (which will only be used on merchandise and stuff, its not actually the logo) and cut the BBC bit on the actual logo.

Well, actually I was excited about David taking over from Chris because I'd seen DT in other things BUT I get your meaning exactly. Heh, DT is not Doctor Who. He is an EXCELLENT actor, but that doesn't make up for the fact I'm still mad the fans and the show were put on hold to "Let him do other things". Blame that on RTD as well. Russell has given up TWO consecutive "stinkers" for finale's. DT should've really REgenerated last season and let someone, like Matt give us a FULL Series 5.

For a mad minute there I really thought that this is the real title sequences - was getting very excited! You have really done a good job Sam, so well done. One of the most annoying things about the new series is that it's title sequence doesn't include the face of the current doctor, which is a shame as it is one of the most iconic elements of the titles. I really wish that this is the proper title sequence.

Hmmm, for a second I thought it was the real thing. Nice to see you've begun what shall no doubt be a torrential downpour of fan made titles sequences featuring the new logo. BBC should run a competition and award a nice prize to whoever can come up with the winning sequence. So many people that make these seem to want the Doctor's face back in the titles. I welcome that.
