@mbtoober Comments like this agitate me. I was an avid Marvel comic reader/fan in the 80's -90's too. The comic books had more plot holes and changes than any movie ever made. Let's not forget to mention the rotation of artists for even one series run causing the characters and style to look different each time (off topic: Jim Lee was my fave). I don't expect any movie to follow the comics faithfully. I take it as another storyline for my favorite characters.

@mbtoober By the way, I dislike SM3. Not for the unfaithfulness to the comics, but because they didn't do Venom justice. Venom is a huuuge antagonist for Spidey and his character really lacked in this movie. Anyway, SM got a reboot. Supposed to be closer to the "The Amazing..." comic series. Marvel movies have been excellent ever since Marvel took over full control of their movies rather than just licensing. Iron Man is a great example.

When spiderman is going to save MJ from the Taxi thats hanging there in the air.... he runs on top of a building and behind him is a HUGE shiny american flag behind him. So if they just left out sandman and made Harry and Venom the main villians and have harry and peter come together to fight Venom it might would had a better rating and They should had did the Lizard for the main villian! but he will in the Spiderman Reboot!

This movie was alright. It wasn't terrible or Bad ass. It was in the middle. They did their best to cram so many sub plots into one movie (you got to give them credit for effort) But the thing that pissed me off is that Harry is pissed off at Peter for killing his father, and Bernard knew the whole time that his father killed himself, and ONLY decides to tell him in the VERY END??? WTF???
