This is music at it's finest. Imagine listening to the whole album to finally hear this song at the end. It leaves you in a sense of ah. I love how each Beatles song has a certain emotion: happy, sad, humorous, etc. This is probably in my top 10 favorite Beatles songs.

I love this song, but some of the images hurt. They were at the height of their fame, their writing, as were the Stones, looking at Mick at :12 and Keith Richards at :56 is sad too. Both John and George are gone, as is Brian Jones. Mick and Keith talking at 1:37. It's an incredible montage of friends, musicians, and fantastic music. "A Day In The Life", to me, is the Beatles at their absolute best, when they were masters of the world. Sometimes I wonder if they could have brought world peace!!!!
