  • how much did the pump cost?

  • what happened to the fckw?

  • Yes it is quiet, but why did you change motors?

  • I dont think that this is very smart.... These litle things are capable of pumping air up to 20 BAR!!!! That vessel is rated probably for only 8 BAR... I wouldnt mess with that..... Just my opinnion.

  • @TheRoknemec that's why I kept the pressure switch.

  • @moosemansteam Thats okay then. Be safe!

  • @TheRoknemec ever heard of this thing called a pressure relief valve? Look it up.

  • @TheRoknemec mine goes upt to 13 bars and more

  • I can't tell for sure, but it looks like the compressor isn't level. Some types of refrigeration compressors will wear out very quickly if they aren't mounted level.

  • in a refrigerator they have to work much harder and hotter to compress the refrigerant, using it as a air compressor it works less and the psi you are using on this smalll tank is nothing to the psi that is reached when in a fridge check the internet or youtube and you will find loads of silent compressors

  • fonejaker just to let you know they do fit refridgeration compressors try looking at bambi or nu air silent compressors they use refridgeration compressors but they put a oil window in so you can top the oil up they are widely used now and some of the big ones have 3to4 copressors working at a time and there fine and bambi compressors come with a 10 year garantee

  • This will work for a while until it pumps all its oil out. Refrigeration compressors don't have the same piston rings as a normal air compressor so they pass quite a bit of oil. This isn't a problem in a closed recirculating refrigeration system---but this application will eventually suck the oil reserve dry causing the compressor to not start one day. If you do try to add some oil to it use mineral oil.

  • @BurtBartlow The air moisture will turn the oil acid, right?

  • @vovlov Maybe a little. My advice is to run it till it quits then go get another one. lol

  • thats what i need for my airgun when i shoot indoor..how i wish thats available in walmart

  • Work on night

  • How long has this system been working? Is it capable of starting under pressure and what does the pressure need to drop to in order for it to start?

  • It's been working fine for a year or so.....I only ever use ressures of about 40psi, and it has no problem starting under that. It has a pressure switch, so you can preset the pressure, it operates just like a normal compressor. If the pump should fail at some point I'll get another from the scrapyard ;-)

  • the pump you are using wili fail soon because the pressure switch has been removed and when the pump restarts under load (PRESSURE IN THE LINE}the motor will struggle to start EVENTUALLY and blow fuses or burn out. thats why compressor manufacturers do not use refridgeration pumps.

  • can't you just fit a one way valve in the line??

  • How are called these engines that works on comprimed air ? Or is it just a model steam engine ?

  • pneumatic engines.

  • nice FR series Danfoss compressor!, my SC series puts out 250Psi!

  • Hey.

Freon CFC gas are danger for the ozon layer. And did you ?

  • you can reach 600 psi easily with that refrigeration pump.

  • Great idea and well executed.

  • recharge times? o-100
