the gun immitates the real steel version which has an abs lower receiver. the visible metal parts of this gun are upper receiver, rail system, outer barrel and gun swivels.

inner metal parts are gearbox and inner barrel (maybe some other less important)

ok ive never had that problem. mine shot good straight out of the box, despite some bbs falling out of the barrel on the occasional jam (for some reason that doesnt happen anymore). it might be the adjustable hop up. do you know how to adjust the hop up? if its set wrong it will add enough spin to the bbs that it will spiral in a downward trajectory, explaining it only going 10 ft...

i have the same gun, but when i got it (1 year ago), it was f******* broken, not tht it is a bad gun ( i wouldnt know, i havent been able to use it), but when i shoot it, the bb's only go away 10 feet. Its one of the lower quality airsofts, you can tell because one of the BB's fell out because the motor isn't Digitally controlled by a controller chip unlike other much more expensive ones.

But be aware, the first time I ordered 5000 BBs from airsplat they sent a pack of 3500 that was busted and they were all over the box. They sent me a replacement of the originally ordered 5000 which was great, but the pack was, again, busted and they were scattered throughout the box. But it was no big deal.

Hey thanks. And yeah the video was meant to be kind of retarded since I wasn't even planning on uploading it. But anyways yeah I used a pack of 3500 and another pack of 5000 Airsplat (Airsoft Elite Manufactured) .2g BB's that were fairly high grade and seemless. They worked and that's all that matters.

Speaking of which, I need to buy a good red dot and/or optical sight for the picatinny RIS. Any suggestions? Also on my list I'm going to get an extra mag or two and another battery, possibly a higher cap battery. This way I can charge while shoot and interchange.

Yeah you should. I'm pretty impressed with it. The stock mag according to the manual is a 330 rnd hicap. I've shot off around 3500 rounds already in just a couple days. Also if you are considering buying this I recommend you get the civilian version because it's more adaptable with the customizable RIS, unlike the military version which gives a fixed low power optical sight only.
