Personally I like the Silhouette because the pickups don't color the sound too much. The Silhouette is really for people who are into Strat/Tele/LP tones, but different too. These EMG pickups on the Luke aren't my taste. To my ears they sound too slick and modern, which I don't usually like on blues especially.

Cool tune and great playing! See you use some of Lukathers techniques in you playing, even the one where you use the whammy bar at the same time you pick a note. Never got that one right myself :-(

The Silhouette has the exact same bridge and tuners as the Luke,( Vintage Bridge and Schaller M6 tuners) so i will imagine that it stays in tune just as good. The music man guitars in general are also made with extreme quality, and I can almost guarantee that you will be pleased!

And the Silhouette is a real cool guitar!
