Although i've always heard of Arabian horses, this is the first time I've heard of the Fresian breed. Is this another name for Arabian, a sub-breed of Arabian, or what? Regardless, they're magnificently beautiful creatures, looking exactly like the heroic animals of fairy-tale lore

I Have a black cob cross, and people ask if he has fresian in him, he does look like one, but with out the long main and tale, what difrentiates the friesian? The one at 36 secs can't be a Friesian as it has a face marking ... Real purebred Friesians do not have any markings at all. Good vid though !

Second, keeping a bloodline "pure" almost always does more harm than good (European nobles and purebred dogs have proven that) so I don't find that a bragging right for any breed; rather its a hindrance (why Arabs have so many inherent diseases). Third . . . this is a Freisian video. So out of curiosity, why comment on Arabs here?

@templarknight94 No they're not. Naturally, horses look like short eared donkeys with horse tails. You know, stocky beasties, dun in colour, large convex noses. A pure horse is completely different to a natural one, it means humans have inbred it to within an inch of its normal features.

Well, in my opinion, this song REALLY suits the video!! I used to ride a Friesian once and ACTUALLY felt haunted! Seriously, those are like ghosts! *hugs a friesian* And Arabians don't look unnatural, they are just horses.... @kuwaiteng Absolute rubbish. They all excel at different things. Arabian couldn't have built industrialised Britain like the cobs and shires did. Granted Arabian is one of the best, but ever seen an Arab/Friesian cross and what they can do? Look like a Friesian, stamina and speed of an Arabian and drink very little. Arabian in Friesian skin.
