The song is 'In the Deep' by Byrd York from the movie 'Crash'. From my experience, the good news about tough times in sobriety is that (as long as I don't pick up the first drink): (1) bad times pass (may seem like forever, but they do pass), (2) I learn from them (I never learned much when I was drinking), 3) there is always a reason for gratitude (even if it's as simple as having people to talk to, and, most important, (4) my experience will sometime in the future really help someone else.
