I (just about) remember going upstairs just as the roof was coming off the place. The lightshows were amazing. The feeling of 'arrival' and oneness was quite special there.

The focus was on the crowd, no star DJs back then! And coming out at 6am, and yeah popping over to Bar Italia. I remember well a group of Welsh lassies to give a talk on living off the land, they had a beautiful energy about them. I keep the ethics I had back then, dont drive, veggie, so big thanks to those that ran it, :)

I posted this, so thanks for all the comments. My part in Megatripolis was to manage all the video screens but along the way I also managed to grab some bits of video. As time goes on they become more precious. Let's face it, when you're sitting in your rocking chair you want some rocking memories to smile about.

Ah, if only we could bring back Megatripolis, the vibe was always friendly and crazy, plus music always great and loads of E-head loved up crowd who wanted to have fun and party hard. I was there every thurs without fail for my 'fix'!

Wish we could bring it back. Who knows though, with the global depression I can see clubs like this making a comeback. People will want to find fun again through simple things (sex, drugs, music) rather than money, not such a bad thing really.

Those were the days eh. Is that Indira at the very end? Shared a bedsit, lovely lass...and the wonderful juggling Dota, I vaguely remember she had a trapeze in her house!!! Friday morning coffee at Bar Italia!! I remember opening for Billy Bragg one night when we all got a bit political about the criminal justice bill!!

Watching this makes me sad as the whole 'movment' of this and club uk etc seemed to die out. I live in Sydney Oz now and there is nothing like it. I gather not much in the UK either. What happened to Good quality industrial tribal tecno? Lazers and all the freaky hippyies. Did we all 'grow up' . If i could find a place again like this i'd be out every Thursday!!!
