The one in the street is a reflection on the window of a bolt alreading beginning up higher and thats why it stops and does not go all the way up the window as the eve of your house blocks the light from reaching the upper part of the window. it did hit on the next block and only one strike in this view.
judging on how loud the rain is, I would assume that was shot outside. the only way the rain would be that loud if it were shot inside would be if the window was open and if that is the case there would be no reflection off the glass because the glass would not be in the frame.
@theloosegoose333 Not only that but if that was shot through a window as you suggest, that has got to be the CLEANEST window i have ever seen!! no other reflections, no fingerprints, no reflection of the camera or person recording this.
Nice video. But the lightning "striking the street" was just the reflection of the actual bolt on the lens (I assume that's what it is, anyway, I'm not sure what causes that "ghost bolt" seen in so many videos on Youtube). A lot of people mistakenly claim that lightning struck their driveway and stuff.
This is propably a leader strike. The charge will start making several paths between cloud and ground (leader strikes). The first path to meet in the middle becomes the actual bolt.
I've seen lightning 15 yrds away, and if it had hit the street, there would of been more instant thunder and sparks.

confused...are you assuming video was shot looking out of a window? if so, she was out on the porch.
we found it that the strikes before the main strike are leaders bolts or "possible destiny's" on the street.
there not reflections as they happen before the main strike.

its a leader bolt or something. it cant be a reflection because of the fact that the ghost bolts dont happen at the same time as the main strike.
