  • On a trip to the UK I rode a Pendelino, and used a great deal for 1st class London to Glasgow. Very nice it was I can recommend them......

    ....but there is nothing to beat Class 87/86 with Blue Grey MK2s or 3s late 70s early 80s

    Just wished I had had the chance to do double headed Class50s with MK2Cs, though they did pass us when when drove M6

  • Things are even better now that most of the Trent Valley section has been four-tracked. The 7.5-mile Brinklow-Attleborough section is still only three-track, however.
