I hope everyone has been updated with the latest news about our beloved sport. I was told that OMBAC got a special events permit to allow alcohol on all of fiesta island for the weekend of the worlds. I hope this news can put everyones mind at ease

Ignorance can be fixed, supidity is forever. Each and every year the OTL tournament takes place they apply for and are given a special events permit allowing alcohol. OMBAC and the future of OTL are safe as those permits will continue to be issued allowing for the naked drunken debauchery that is OTL.
OTL will not be safe. Permits may continue to be issued, but there's no way they'll be able to contain that whole island in a fence to keep it "secure" during the tourney. OTL as we know it is over if this ban happens. Think it through.
