  • how many hp this bike make?

  • 0:50 she talks about 10k rpm and shows it right in the following clip! wow :-P Bikes are for men

  • hhhhhhi.....i'm Tracy

  • "yamahar" - I like that. ;-)

  • I'd even recommend it as an economical sports tourer.

4.5 l per 100 kms. You can ride this all day long and never feel uncomfortable.

  • I've learnt on this model bike, and I'd recommend it for the learner category.

I wanted to get used to a big inline 4, and this fits the bill.

Steel frame means no frame fatigue like aluminium.

Detuned 600, gives more torque and economy.

Fits the learner rules perfectly in my opinion. (up to 650 cc in my country Australia).

It has no trouble keeping up with any bike once you learn how to ride properly.

Take it easy and practice alot. I put 30 000km in the first year to become proficient.

  • Also is this good for taller riders? You said good for people shorter in the leg but I am 6 feet 5.... I should obviously try it out first.....

  • @jem7992 Just bought one a couple days ago, 05 FZ6. I am also 6'5 and sit comfortably on it and i weigh 215, great bike.

  • bad music :(

  • @qwert5021 feel free to buy us or supply us with something better!

  • @BikeRiderTV I agree. Though honestly I would rather have no music when you show the bike riding- Rather hear the engine noise etc. I agree that you guys shouldnt waste your time finding different music- maybe just turn the volume on it down a bit when she is talking. Great review thanks.

  • @qwert5021 music sucks man........

  • She is hot

  • Lol i was wondering why you were driving on the other side of the road. Then I heard your voice and figured it out ;]

  • I can understand her just fine. I don't know what you asshats are bitching about.

  • This is an XJ6

  • Good review on the FZ6r....however, I just cannot understand why Yamaha discontinued the FZ6 (S) version and made this? They replaced the S version's aluminum frame with a steel tubular, decreased the 90+ hp to 68, shrunk the height, smaller rear tire, lower red line, smaller gas tank, eliminated the AWESOME undertail dual exhaust, and made the passenger seat smaller. I would be a lot more bitter if I hadn't snatched up my own '09 leftover FZ6 (S) for myself :). Yamaha, why you hate me?

  • @motoriderification I have read the 2011 Yamaha FZ6R put's out 78HP. I agree that is a big drop from the 09 FZ6 s 98HP. It would have been better with the 98HP. I know where a 09 left over FZ6-s is new, It has no miles on it. The shop owner said he would take 6,300.00 for it. The only thing that would worries me is that the motor hasn't been turned over, and some of the valve springs have been compressed the whole time & at lest one cycl is wide open. A chance I know. 6K would be better price.

  • @ylism $6,300 seems like an awesome deal to me if it is OTD. I've had mine for 1600mi and no problems with engine thus far. I've rung it out pretty well also on the freeway up to 12k rpm+. I dont think I'd worry about it sitting in the shop, after all it is a brand new motor.

  • @motoriderification Not real sure, if he said that price was OTD or not ? I do like the seat type & duel exhaust coming out from the back of the seat. It's a black bike. If I happen to get another look & ask about that, That's if it not sold by now.. Take care, yl

  • This bike probably isn't good for someone my size right? I'm 6'6 250lbs.

  • new zealand women i mean.

  • aussie women are tough. Maybe that's the problem with women here in the states. They are to fucking soft, and dumb. I mean alot of women in my area are stupid. Women over there seem more intelligent,

  • what language are you speaking?

  • @weekendpartier it's called English, ever heard of it?

  • @weekendpartier Lol Englush...Kiwi style

  • @reddevil211287 You can talk ya Aussie; how's your Engleesh? Mr. weekendpartier is American so he doesn't have an accent... ...Anglash y'all.

  • @BikeRiderTV haha nawwh...I love you guys...shout out to Newlands 056!!

  • @BikeRiderTV only if you live in Texas you profiler.

  • This motorcycle is also a good bike for the experienced rider, i have been riding for a long time and i have the XJ6N which is the same bike minus the front body work. It is a great bike like you said for the learner or some'one who likes to ride fast and hard sometimes. But the only thing this engine has in common with the R6 is the bore and stroke, the head is shaped different, the clutch working are different & more, may look the same on the outside but on the inside it's different.

  • any chance of doing a review of the Suzuki gsxf600 im looking at these to for my next bike when i get my full not sure which would be better. is the fz6r good for carrying a passenger do you know?

  • I have a Yellow 09 and I love it too. Some people call this a entry level bike but I compared it to a 1985 Ninja 600 R that I have new (in '85) and the specs between the 6R and the Ninja are pretty well the same!!! Kind of funny what was hi-tech all out Super Sport bike in '85 is noe a entry level machine!

  • Got a K9 and love it
