  • Now all you need is the NOM NOM NOM song.

  • I have 2 parakeets, and a Cockatiel, both of the parakeets are extremely anti social despite our best efforts to train them (it's been almost 5 years) and the cockatiel hates the parakeets, although he has no problem with other cockatiels, i think he may be racist.

  • Oh wow - they love that! Very cute birds. I'll have to steam come corn for my cockatiels tonight!

  • so cute

  • I have a 19-year old male cockatiel, too. I'm afraid of him dying! His wife of 15 years died this summer. I have not idea of the cause. She was fine in the morning, and at evening feeding she was laboring to breathe... She had numerouse small health problems, but, still!

  • Funny. My cockatiels and parekeets are always at war....I,m always a referee when I let them out.

  • we had does one time

  • Okay, I haven't seen my parakeet drinking water. How often would they drink. Or do they just take small amounts. Sorry, but I'm just a little curious and worried

  • @3SPaki I'm sure your parakeet is fine! These little birds don't need a lot of water. I can go days without seeing any of my birds drink water. Assuming you're changing the water at least everyday, you will most likely not see any water level changes unless your bird takes baths (which some parakeets love to do!). If this is a new bird, I would recommend providing your bird with a small lid-full of water at the bottom of the cage without clutter around it, and this would be the same for food.

  • @3SPaki for my birds when i change their waetr bowl they stare at it but when i change their bath water they drink it and bathe....mostly they drink 2 sips in 1 day.. so he/she probably drinks when ur not home

  • Cute birds :3 <3

  • is it ok to put two male cockatiels in one cage? im getting a cockatiel, don't know if the male/female or male/male but im curious...don't want them hurting each other.

  • @Jesvel18 I have 2 male tiels and they're been living together ever since Bebe was a nestling. With my experience, there's rarely any issues with fighting and when there is the occasional bickering, I just put the one bird that's being picked on onto the playpen area. If you're introducing a new bird or getting two new birds that aren't familiar with each other, make sure to quarantine them and then slowly introduce them so they can get used to the new environment first, and then to each other.

  • do the corn have to be cooked?

  • @youngboss1960 My birds only eat the germ of the kernel, and it's easier to get to when it's cooked. Also cooked corn is more easily digestible.

  • My budgie was sitting on my shoulder as I prepared breakfast many years ago, and before I could pour the milk, he ambled down my arm and started eating my cereal hehe. Loved him.

  • so so so so so so so so CUTE CUTE CUTE CUTE

  • They're so precious!

  • my parakeet never wants to eat corn :P

  • @csikder15 Do you feed your parakeet any other fresh foods? A varied diet is best. Try foods like apple, nectarines, plums, spinach, watercress or celery leaves. My birds usually want to try what I'm eating. If they end up liking it, I keep a mental note and add it to their diet to keep it varied.

  • @cherryjubilee89 yeah..I try to give them other vegatables but they won't eat it! They peck it and throw it on the ground! They are very picky eaters!!

  • Comment removed

  • 10 people cook and eat these adorable things btw grea video

  • Cooked corn?

  • OM NOM NOMx3

  • AWWW!!!!!! xD

  • again - very cute ! look like they're smiling happily !

I like Macaw parrots , but i luv this clip !

  • yes they're so cute !

  • lol HEY GUYS CAN I HAVE SOME CORN?

  • 10 people srsly don't have a hearth :( (or they are all just jealous because THEY didn't get to eat the corn)

  • Kyah! So cute :)

  • Cute

  • Less fighting when there is plenty of food.

  • i have one cockatiel and two budgies and my cockatiel is scared to death of them but they love her (and her mansion cage). how can u get them to get along with each other?

  • @tubular829 From what I know, I'm pretty sure that your cockatiel feels like she's being threatened basically. Her cage is like her little area, and allowing your budgies to play on/near her cage (no matter how adorable they are) isn't going to coerce your cockatiel into liking your budgies. If your birds are tame enough, I would suggest letting all your birds play in a neutral area and giving out treats or toys that everyone would like. Just like people, birds can bond over similar interests :]

  • I bet in there heads they were going "OH MY GOD! ITS....CORN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111YES!THANK YOU"

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHW ^_^...

  • How do you make your cockatiels eat people food?

The only thing Spanakopita ever wants is cheerios.

  • @cherryjubillee89 did you cook the corn b4 u gave it to your birds?

  • WHAT HOW DID YOURS GET TO EAT CORN????

  • NOM NOM NOM NOM

  • My little budgie definitely looks up to my cockatiel but the thing is, my cockatiel would always peck at him or fight with him. Cuz every thing Pete does, Ricky follows him and does it too. If Pete is eating some crumbs and Ricky is eating a piece of toast, (and you know that Ricky would love the food he's eating) he would still walk over to Pete and try and eat with him cuz Ricky wants to be just like Pete.

  • in their heads they are going : HOLY SHiT THIS IS SOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDd

  • their trainjed right

  • I love their little orange ears :)

  • Nawwwwhhhh

  • Yummy! They like that my cockatiel would eat almost anything he loved apples, pears, banana, grapes, any flavour of yoghurt, crisps, bisquits, baked beans, mash, chips, cucumber, went nuts went macaroni cheese was about, sausages. Yes, SAUSAGES, chicken, all cereals, chocalate (yorkie was a fav), spaghetti, carrots, he was very healthy never got sick very fit and active and lived 2 the ripe old age of 27 and his sister 24 R I P my friends we miss u xx

  • Our male is 19 this year. Still happy and healthy and LOVES corn.

  • Awwwwwww! I fainted from the cuteness.

I have read cockatiels can like till 30 if they have a great varied diet. Your obviously doing a wicked job :)

  • so budgies and cockatiels do get along, my budgie follows my tiel around everywhere but she doesnt seem to like him very much lols

more like a puppy trailing after an abusive master, my cockatiel can throw the filthest looks ever hahaha

  • @AnimeLoverForever16 Budgies are quite strong minded & can get the upper hand with aggression. Cockatiels r bigger but gentler by nature. An aggressive bug. can seriously bite cock's feet & pluck their plumage. U have to watch carefully 4 a while to be sure they are bonded & be sure the budgie is "playing nice".

  • SO SWEET

  • I see this was originally posted a while back but what a cute video :) :)

  • I keep wondering why people click dislike on these cockatiel videos... There is absolutaly no reason to do so, theyre the most beatiful birds ever

  • This is adorable .. My cockatiel won't touch anything besides seeds, crackers, and cereal

    :)

  • @gymgurl98 try cutting up vegetables and sprinkling seeds in it,mix it up and then give it to them in a treat dish 0iwhile they are out playing, they will have to forage for the seeds, and most likely will try the veggies in the process. Make sure you dice the veggies up really small though so they are bite sized peices for your birds.gettin them to eat veggies is very important, otherwise if they dont they cant get fatty liver disease and will die prematurely

  • It's pretty sad that bird's can go along with each other and humans cannot

  • awww! If that's not cute, I don't know what is.!

  • Are They aloud that?

  • this budgie is about the size of an orange-bellied parrot, about to become extinct with only 40 left in the world down from 150 last year. They migrate from tasmania to aust every winter , about to be australia's next bird ticked off the list... check em out before their gone... cheers nice work with budgie. i have three cockatiels

  • aww how cute <3

  • aw this is quite........

    AD0RABLE!!♥

  • how long (in in or cm) do cockatiels grow?

  • BEAUTIFUL!!! i have 5 of them inside :) best birds ever!!!

  • Are cockatiels also parakeets?

  • @ennetichale no they are not parakeets, they are both in the "parrot" family of birds

  • Yum ^_^.....waait did u say the grey one is "15 YEARS OLD???" umm is that lifespan possible?

  • @TheGarcia350 They can live to 20-25 years with proper care.

  • aww, i wish my cockatiels and budgies are friends like this. But they are enemy for lif

  • they look sooo cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • are there both male...don't they get along....cuz mine sometime fight for food or spot...how can I stop them for doing that.

  • aww thats so cute,

it just goes to show, it doesnt matter if ur different, we can all get along

  • @TheRubyRose13 thats a very nice comment..its sad to see us humans go against each other and hate each other and have wars and stuff when animals can always get along with each other despite their differences..this makes us humans look dumber than animals

  • @TheRubyRose13 Yeah....as long as you like corn on the cob!!!

  • @TheRubyRose13 Exactly! If animals can do it, why can't we? :D

  • @TheRubyRose13 the only reason the budgie was alowed was because it was white

  • @TheRubyRose13 'cept niggers

  • @Reublol haha awesome!

  • can tiels and budgies mix? because one of my budgies died recently and the remaining one needs a friend.

  • @mdacatrina

hhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmm maybe. my parakeets scare the crap outta my sister's tiel

  • All: "Mmm *munch*, *munch*

    Yellow 'tiel: "Mmm needs salt"

    Grey 'tiel: "Mmm needs ketchup"

    Budgie: "Mmm needs more corn"

  • bunların hepsini mıncık manyağı yapacaksın :) yirim

  • I kno they can eat corn. But i don't know if it's supposed to be cooked, raw, or dried?

  • Raw, as it would be in nature. But it's not going to harm them if it's cooked, I'm sure. Cooking (oxidation/breakdown) is the same process that will occur in their stomachs.

People can apparently eat raw corn, but for us, it's actually better to it eat cooked or nixtamalised (like grits) due to the increase of antioxidants, the change in protein structure and of course the killing of any possible disease in the plant.

  • yavrularım benim

  • how do get it to eat corn? ive done it both on the cob and kernels pulled out, but he'll never eat anything foreign to his millets and seed mix

  • very cute

  • Sooo cute :)

  • this is sooo cute! you're so lucky they got together so well and they took the food from your hand!

  • Awesome video. I wish I could get my teil to eat some freshies. She won't have nothing to do with fresh food. She wants her teil food and picks out only what she likes in it.. and millet. I have tried everything!

  • This is SO sweet!! Who's squeakin' near the end? I thought one of the 'tiels, but... budgies have such a range of possible sounds... Thanks for this great clip!

  • Man your so lucky because when I put my cockatiel with my budgie they fight to the death!

  • theyre cute. Can budgies and 'tiels usually be friends????? B cuz our tiel lost his mate and needs a friend and we want a budgie.

  • They could be great friends! It all depends if they choose to get along. My teil became friends with mt budgie and they are are such great friends!

  • it depends, on their personality. i have one tiel who doesn't like any other birds, and my other tiel is afraid of my budgie, even though he is not afraid of my conure or he other tiel, just birds that are smaller than him.. i guess. kinda funny.

  • it depends. My tiel and budgie have a love-hate relationship. they cant be to close or to far because each one starts crying for the other. so sometimes yes and sometimes no.

  • Yeah they mostly always can be friends

  • they are cute

    they look very friendly

  • cute vid. I have tried so hard to make my two 'tiels to eat corn or other types of fruits/veggies but they just don't understand that corn=food... Weirb birds.

  • i like budgies better

  • lol the budgie had some corn on her face and the cockatiel tried to pick it

  • aww the parakeet looks like mine ^^

  • is that corn raw? i wanna giv them 2 my 3 cockatiels :D

  • Looks cooked to me... Hope ist not hot though :)

  • aww......

  • nom nom nom nom nom XD

  • theyre too cute lol so happy. i just got my cockatiel 3 days ago (hes a few months old) and i just gave him some frozen (i thawed them out) mixed veggies and he LOVED the corn, peas, and carrots. he had it all over his beak and he was just so cute lol

  • How cute!! the 15 year olds obviously been well looked after to have lived this long...he's a beauty...

  • Next time, give your precious birds a "non-eaten" ear of corn to eat. This is unsanitary that you gave them what you have eaten, and had them pecking what's left. I don't believe they are not worthy of one ear of cooked corn, especially for video purpose. Please treat them right.

  • umm its not like they are going to eat the whole corn...its a good idea to give them left over corn to eat.

  • To say that it's unsanitary to give them corn their owner has eaten off of is to say that it's abusive to let their birds give them kisses or negligent to let them groom each other. Get real. There's no harm done, and the birds are enjoying a treat. They could care less!

  • I agree wholeheartedly. I always give all my birds fresh or cooked fruits/vegetables. Treat your birds right. They are your friend. While you enjoy your ear of corn, give your birds another ear, or just cut a section of yours and give it to them. They know the difference. When they are respected, they are better pets.

  • My cockatiel is 17 :D He is very old

  • wow ur cockatiel is 15 years old? ahahahaha it's older than i am xD

  • BIRDS ARE SO COOOOL !

  • Don't they luv their corn! Just remember it can be quite fattening for them.

  • My parakeets love corn. Everytime we clean them, we put a new cob. After we put the new cob in, they starting eating the whole thing. o.O I guess they want something new! lol

  • does birds actually know that they are being taken care of by humans? i just want to know srry...

  • yes. my baby always wants to be on my shoulder or even on my lap and gets excited when i come into the room and talk to him

  • I have 2 cockatiels and i really want to have 1 budgie but my 2 cockatiels hate each other, they r so jealous..i m afraid they will hate budgy as well:((

  • Vilken TID, det tar innan kommentarer tillåts entra Youtube!!!

  • That's cute watching them eat together, my birds love their vegies too. I have a cocketiel and a budgie living together, I used to have 2 of each but I had to give the grey one to a friend cos he kept biting at the white one and the female budgie accidently flew out the avery door recently and we couldn't catch her but we still have pur green budgie and our white cocky, I just posted a vid of them up, come check it out if you like.

  • that is just too cute! beautiful birds!

  • can i keep my cockatiel and budgie int he same cage

  • If they aren't constantly going at it, yes, you can keep in the same cage. Even if they aren't the best of friends, as long they're not killing each other, it's pretty safe. I do it.

  • In the wild, budgies and cockatiels feed together. They are related to each other.

  • Indeed... . Vad jag älskar dessa underbara djur!!!, These Wonderful Birds!

  • I know what you mean...but it is very sad if they fly out an open door and you loose them forever. They scare very easily and I have lost two like this. I used to let their wings grow in the winter so they can fly around since they didn't go outside in the cold. They LOVE to go outside even if its just to check the mail or a short walk!!! It is better to not take any chances and keep them clipped, bc once they are gone they will prob die:( Just make sure they get exercise in other ways! :)

  • Yeah, I lost one in the same way. We were loading up the car for a trip and some dumb nob (hubby who hates pets) propped the front door open without my knowing and OUT went the bird. We tried to coax it out of the tree, but no he was scared and like his freedom. Gone forever.

  • Why!, nothing is happening!!! Oh... I said somethinh BAD about C02... and it turned out like this!!!

  • one of our budgies got outside once, I'm still surprised he didn't die of shock- we left the door open by accident in the summer and he flew out. He went into a bush, banged into a parked car and waddled into someone's garage. We did get him back home but he couldn't fly for a while- but then he regained his confedence and could fly again. He's actually had alot of adventures- the other one never gets to do anything XD.

  • nomnomnomnom MY CORN HAS A FIRST NAME ITS NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM

  • they can eat corn? I'll have to try that

  • Oooo they love corn! Its their favorite!

  • Corn, celery, carrots, APPLES (they freakin' love apples!), broccoli, mashed potatoes, asparagus, pomegranate, cauliflower, dog biscuits, whole grain cereal, not whole grain cereal, pears, red peppers, green peppers, jalapeno peppers (seriously), hot peppers, cooked pasta, raw pasta...they'll eat anything you eat. Just keep them away from chocolate, avocados, and caffeine. HAPPY BIRDS!

  • wow that's great I'll have to try feeding them apples XD

  • can cockatiels talk?

  • males can pronounce vowels fairly well but they're not like parrots, they extend to a certain point of mimicry. it is just a bit more difficult to teach them because it takes a lot of practice

females can't exactly talk but i don't think that's true

  • yup

  • yes they can talk if they are a baby they take about a month or so to start talking they can say anything thet can even sing but you have to teach them of cause.

  • I gave corn to my cockatiels too and geehh! There're crazy about that thing! Wonder why...

  • I want to feed corn to my parakeets the same way you did. Did you feed it to them plain and uncooked or did you cook it first?

  • soooooooooooooooooo cute! love it!

  • haha! it was funny how obvious it was that the the grey cockatiel was gona peck the budgie - the way it stopped eating and just stared at the budgie with an evil look! hahaa

  • my cockatiel buster is an elitist. he will only he eat sushi

  • OMNOMNOMNOM

  • jus a question can a cockatiel eat the same food as budgies? like the same seed mix

  • is the gray cockatiel a male or female

  • can they really eat corn?

they wont die or something right cuz im gonna trie to feed them corn

  • haha...dont worry...they wont...they will be pretty enjoy of it...

  • My birds love corn too. Such a cute video!

  • glad to see that budgie holdin his own against those beastly manbirds

  • not really cockatiels are quite friendly to budgies but not the other way around

  • i see this was posted a year ago is the old cockateil still among us living. He looks good.Mine loves corn too:) how old is the white one?

  • was it cooked?

  • it should be cooked though.:)

  • Cute video! They show great friendship sharing food. My budgies enjoy corn as well, it's they're favourite delicacy!

  • my Cockatail die d today so this reminds me of mine

    Your birds are adorable

  • Yea my 4 budgies and cockatiel love corn too!

  • does budgies and cockatiels like raw sweetcorn or boiled?

  • it's good that you feed your birds vegetbles they are very brutiful birds^^^ keep up the good work

  • My cockatiel luvs eating my left over pop corn kernels even though I tried to break her from doing that because then her new babies would learn how and they might choke. I don't want to lose all of her six babies. Surprisingly three girls and three boys. The dad feeds them often. I'm watching her eat kernels right now.

  • i was crackin up when i saw this i did not now my bierd can eat this

  • super cute!

  • How cute! My cockatiel love eating potato chips!

  • cute birds you got there :)

  • OM NOM NOM NOM

  • my 2 cockatiels dont get along. well, its mostly the the second cockatiel i got who had a previous owner for a year- anytime my first cockatiel tries to go anywhere near him, he GOES for him really nasty

  • are they both male? male cockatiels dont like to touch each other or get close to each other usually.

  • Its your useless opinion so its ok

  • Actually, your opinion does matter stupid!
