So who is sitting in this Ventures classic yet quiet and not into the finger snapping unit, which is really beyond help. I am thinking only too happy to the 70s when I was with my transistor radio on the shortwave, the very popular radio show "The big 8" heard on Radio Luxembourg with host Jochen Pützenbacher. I was born in 1967 and can only say nice was the time ... thanks for uploading from Germany.
The Ventures did at least two versions of this song. "Kickstand" (Swinging Creeper), and "Night Stick" (With organ splitting solo duties).
Kickstand and Night Stick are the titles the Ventures gave them. The record companies changed the names of the tunes for distribution overseas due to translation issues. Go figure.
@Building529 In Europe this song was titled as THE SWINGING CREEPER Both on 45 rpm and LP, As I understand the title in the US was go go dancer or kickstand buth that was wrong titled and it was corrected before the EU realese. You can here the slower version called the Creeper on my "page" So we are both right depending were we live. :-)
@swedefirebird70 I like your explanation - you're both right depending on where you live! (but sorry, its a fact that the EU version was the mislabeled one - if you take 'the Creeper' to a jazz spot, give it a cigarette and a martini and get it to swing, you'd end up with the piece the non-EU world knows as the Swinging Creeper. It's one of those Ventures instros in which the title IS relevant to the music, as its a reference to a previous track with exactly the same melody)
someone please make a looped edit. please. PLEASE. PLEASE.

Wrong title. This song is called KICKSTAND from the Ventures A Go Go LP. Also a 45 rpm single.

@Building529 Nope... the correct title is The Swinging Creeper

@Building529
WRONG AGAIN. The proper title of the song is "A Go Go Dancer." The Swingin Creeper is a different song entirely, but on the same album. GOOGLE.
