  • theres going to be no way out of the USA soon just carefully look up info but dont go blabin your mouth about the "truth" lol

  • SATANISM NO WAY OUT

  • When you get deep enough in, there is no way out.

  • There truly is no way out.

  • Bought the record when I was sixteen back in '78 and I still play it regularly. Tells you something...

  • @Hermandadog Sure does...Great album this aye?

  • absolutely 100% without a doubt love this song and davids music there is no better

  • @hiljackracer160 I couldnt agree more!

  • stereo image problem :/

  • The Monster Magnet cover is also great!!

  • @burt2800

    no its not.

  • @EyeHawk777 Let's agree that we disagree.

  • @burt2800

Its great! but this one just has that nostalgia bit for me haha

  • Even the mighty All Blacks don't crush minnows by 195-0. 195 likes, let's get 500!

  • 1st time I have heard this since 1978

  • If you dig this check out the Monster Magnet cover Ive always fucking Hated Pink Floyd but than x to Monster Magnet i know respect and need Some of this great music.

  • @hambone9119

Dude if youve always hated Pink Floyd then Im sry but you know nothing about music what planet have you been on. The Floyd are for intelligent creative people it is usually the opposite of this who dont "get it". Dave is the fcking man by they way what a bloke. P.S Monster Magnet can suck my ass.

  • @1234muscail But let me ask you a question, I like and Love Frank Sinatra and Kiss, If you like Floyd and Not Kiss, for example i can say the same thing to you, There are many types of music, and I used to despie Pink Floyd for being boring, I am a Bass player, and i get around and do a fair bit of studio work, I Finally came around to Pink Floyd, I now enjoy and like the music, And so what if i like Punk or Monster Magnet more then floyd, that shit get my rocks off. Either way, Floyd are Great.

  • @hambone9119

Ok man fair enough maybe I picked up wrong on what you were getting at if I did I apologise, each to their own and all that. Music is all about taste as you know yourself. Anyways lets not fall out or quarrel Dave is just too amazng for anything like that. Meant no disrespect dude, Peace:-)

  • @1234muscail That was a great reply sir. I salute you!

  • @hambone9119 Now I've always wondered, how the hell is Pink Floyd boring? Is it the fact that it's not so "hard" because Floyd's lyrics are definitely one of the most deepest. I also enjoy punk/(classic) heavy metal/classic rock/britpop, but in the end of the day nothing beats good ol' Pinkie :)

  • @JohnKulo funny thing is LOVE gilmours solo stuff floyd just sounds like im watching a movie, I watch movies to be entertained i listen to music to dance and enjoy myself. although i dig the Wish you Wear here album, i dont know i drink beer, i dont smoke pot so i guess a really cant see the appeal of trippy stoner type music to me. i dont know why, they dont really do it for me, they EXTREMELY TALENTED, but i find them boring like Led Zeppelin, which i prefer Black Sabbath anyday.

  • @hambone9119 I hate when people label Pink Floyd as a stoner band and I think people mostly say they smoke while listening Floyd to look "cool". Fucking potheads should try listening to the music with their clear mind not with the use of drugs. Pink Floyd is very deep, is that why it's boring? I like Zeppelin and Sabbath and do not find neither of them boring. And I only "listen" to dancemusic when I'm wasted as fuck. I think dancemusic is the one that is boring.

  • i am not a pot head. I haven't smoked weed in at least 3 years. I miss the feeling of being high and completely relaxed though. i think i've only had that feeling once.

  • Kick ass song.

  • Thanks for uploading, i bought this album in a Dublin market when my first son was born now he's the age Gilmour was when he recorded it. Oh how memories gather poignancy like old toys gather dust.

  • anyone have tabs for this?

  • what a f*#@! talent .. genius. Lord Of The Strings....bow your head

  • this whole CD kicked ass, I bought it with my Dad a few days ago.

the guitars you hear, forget about it.

  • I love Waters stuff (The Wall is my fave album of all time) but i LOVE Gilmours voice!! Its amazing!

  • i thought this song was hilarious when i was tripping... it seemed so unrealistic. this record was so great; also check out "mihalis" and "raise my rent:....

  • this is one hell of a song... i remember laughing to it while on acid, because it seemed so silly (at the time). this song has one hell of a kick when you're not "out there". better to be "out there" than "in here"!! read carlos castaneda and robert anton wilson for clarification...

  • Why did David Gilmour put James May on the cover of his album? So confused

  • 0 dislikes. ^-^ <3

  • Still got this one on cassette tape.

  • @88mpny yeah....I have it on Vinyl........still sounds great tho.

  • @daledaddy1 im a vinyl collector, ive got tons of stuff. Most pink floyd and related stuff dose not come cheap, the music is what really matters, but Ive seen this David Gilmore album go for a strong price.. take care of that one bro.

  • @carlspick David Gilmour made Unicorn though, so really it aint a cover.

  • I can't believe i never heard this song before. Its such an amazing song, it shot straight to my top 5 Pink Floyd songs, which is a feat considering there are so many awesome songs in Pink Floyd's catalog.

  • @ReijinRessurect this in not a pink floyd song. Its a David Gilmour song, as a Solo Artist

  • @ReijinRessurect This is Gilmour vintage, my friend. This is the stuff he brought TO pink floyd (btw, he STILL plays the black strat he is prolly playing here)

  • Shows you why most consider David Gilmour to be the sound behind Pink Floyd. Amazing song either way.

  • Great album

  • My mom offered to buy me a ticket to see Roger Waters perform The Wall album. I turned her down because it's not the same without the voice of David. Also, I think Roger has lost his voice. :(

  • @SuperWolfLover1 I'm sorry but you are dead wrong. I just saw Waters do the Wall last night at the Izod center in NJ and his voice sounded AMAZING. There was another guy who sang David's parts and he sounded pretty good too.

  • @bguy75 Really? Because the last time I heard Roger sing, he sounded bad... I dunno, it might have been the way it was recorded. But still, no one can replace Dave.

  • David Gilmour owns!!

  • The hidden meaning is in the lyrics...'There are no answers here, when you LOOK OUT YOU DON'T SEE IN....meaning simply we spend our time looking outside ourselfs for answers that are already WITHIN ourselfs. For me, its just another great tune to experience from talented musicians....

  • Most of rogers solo stuff is unlistenable..........When Gilmour lost interest, Pink floyd began to suck massively i.e. The Final Cut. BY FAR the shittiest Pink Floyd album ever.................

David's solo stuff is excellent. Roger's ego won't let him admit he neeeds Gilmour way maore than Gilmour needs him.................

  • @stratopaulster I loved the post-Waters Floyd, but I thought The Final Cut was a masterpiece. Waters may be a bit of a prick, but he's the brains behind the group. Gilmour is the soul.

  • @Polterguist true that!

  • @Polterguist So Waters is the brain and Gilmour is the soul? That must mean Nick Mason is the heart and Wright is the lungs. (:

  • @stratopaulster its sad how they died with hate in there harets if they where still together music today would be filled with passon and no crap...

  • Opiates and this song make a perfect mix. Drags me one inch of ending it but it's always a beautiful experience.

  • @sniper71267 In the later years of Pink Floyd Roger Waters was more of the "brains" behind the band, but it was more or less against what the rest of the band wanted, which is what led to their split. In my opinion, David Gilmore should have had much more influence on the songwriting than he did, he could level Waters' often eccentric songwriting style.

  • Though this is a great song Gilmore is not Pink Floyd. Listen to the CD Amused to Death by Roger Waters and you will see who the brains of Pink Floyd was. Most of you have not a clue of this album and its a lot like the wall. Look it up and listen to the songs amused to death, what god wants 1,2, & 3, bravery of being out of range, fucking miracle. The whole album is great. then listen to Radio City KAOS by Waters as well. Another wall like album.

Waters is the voice and brain of Pink Floyd.

  • On his first album, David Gilmour sounds relaxed. He makes music to please himself and all in all he pleases us!

  • i fuckin found this record today mu hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • Not as good as the original version by Unicorn from their 'Too Many Crooks' album, the song was written by Unicorns Ken Baker.David Gilmour produced Unicorn.

  • inside outside upside downside--no way--o-u-t

  • as good as he gets--pink floyd--wat do u want from me?

  • love pink floyd, and love dave gilmour, he is my man of pink floyd, ok im not up on who wrote the lyrics and all that, but just think dave is the better vocal and guitar man. but just my opinion, who gives a toss, great music at the end of the day...

  • there's also some robin trower, I suppose... a couple eric johnson things... but really, its hard to find anything that holds a candle to this...

  • I always thought of Dave as the leader of pink floyd not roger.

  • well, you'd be mistaken, then.

  • Balance is off...

Only hear it in my right headphone.

  • Who is Roger Waters? David Gilmour is PINK FLOYD!!

  • @kidger1000 ..............Roger Waters wrote ALL the lyrics for 'The Dark Side Of The Moon' 'Wish you were here' and 'The Wall'... (these are their 3 most sucsessful albums) .... Gilmour is definetly the greatest guitarist and a pretty damn good singer, Richard Wright is very under-rated as part of Pink Floyd, and no one hardly ever mentions Nick Mason!!!......... but Roger is 'PINK' the lyrical/emotional genius behind Floyd's conceptual ideas........... sure , they went on to be good..

  • @ARDUNNO

I agree on your premise, but even Roger would tell you that Syd Barrett was "Pink"

  • @magarcia073 ...............Yeah Syd was Pink, but in the years following....Roger was Pink, pouring his feelings and emotions out into these great songs and Albums... Gilmour and the rest wrote a few great songs, but Roger wrote the most of it....... people hardly mention Rick, but he (to me) was such a big part of Floyd's musical talent....

  • @ARDUNNO People hardly mention Mason either

  • @floydmafia ..........And he is the only remaining ORIGINAL member! *as you prolly know already----most of the folks here don't* Just like most of the folks here know very little about Gilmour's guitars *yes, he still has ALL of them and still uses ALL of them* :)

    peace

  • @kidger1000 half of it maybe..... the wall?

  • ★★★★★

  • Great Song. i agree mobyboy keeps up some of the floyd legacy, although nothing like the orig pink floyd

  • NEW HAMPSHIRE

  • pink himself

  • i was once told that junkies od/die to this song......

  • Gilmour is the shit!

  • @hallmark45 where you come from , mate?

  • love it

  • very good song. Keeps the qulity of Pink Floyd Stuff

  • @mobyboy He is Pink Floyd sir!

  • gilmour kicks ass!

  • @gibsongold1970 Heck yeah he does!
