I just completed my mascot volunteer work today. Was a lot of fun! And whatever these two guys said in the video are TRUE! Its extremely hot and stuffy. But you get close to many many children. :)
@Waterstorm3 We're a local private school that specialises in hotel management and culinary. Which mascot we get to suit up will vary, in some cases we will be the mascot minders. But regardless of role, we all do the exact same things as demostrated in this video.
i really like lyo and merly. decent design for mascots. (better than zakumi)
and overall i have to say good performance. though i didn't get much of a reaction when i was with you guys for brief moments during the Cosmo mascot parade. or was that two other people? (i'm the orange fox-thing freelance "mascot")

@Waterstorm3 Im from shatec institutes. The whole school was volunteered for YOG, a few intakes including mine were appointed the mascot job.
