I use a palm pre+ and an iPod Touch. If the palm was built like an iPhone with a glass screen and metal case instead of a cheap plastic screen and flimsy plastic back it would be in at least the top 5 best phones out right now. The phone itself gets great reception and webOS is sweet.
OMFG that phone looks so small, i'd be scared to breath it in by accident... nevertheless webos looks nice. i've never used it, want to but won't if hpalm is continuing to bring out disgustingy ugly shitbox harware like this... they should license the software and let htc do their magic.
Wow... Really nice OS... Looks a lot better than iOS... I don't know if the API's are as simple as Apple's, but I think webOS has potential... For now I'll stick with my iPhone

For a website, that does not use a whole lot of photos in their website posts, you do very well on video. Most videos demo's or updates are horrible, the grammar is pathetic, and the overall "demo" part is never thought out well, because the website just wants to be the "first" out there with a video or something. This was well thought out, the camera was focused and trimmed ON The DEVICE itself. Very impressive. It sounds simply, and if you cannot do a simple demo, it just does not work. Great

Seems like aps take a second to boot up-- for example calc ap takes a little bit. That wasn't true for Palm OS devices. The calculator was instant on, like the device. I realize that the P3 is a more capable, more powerful device that can do things all at once, but instant-on is huge, especially when you're standing in front of someone who wants to know your availability.
Yes, its a bit slower but once you take advantage of the multitasking the preloaded apps "loads" instantly. So, if you use the Calendar a lot, keep it open and make use of that nice card view multitasking
I love my iPhone 3GS. That being said, I really would like to use WebOS. The way they organized it, designed it, and created the UI is awesome. Much better than the iPhone OS. Unfortunately, it just doesn't have the same apps yet, nor does Palm compare in hardware. Getting better, but not quite yet.

i have two windows phones. SE Xperia X1 and HTC Touch Pro 2. Now i woluld say Xperia x1 is still one of the best premium smartphones in the market even though it's been out for almost 2 years, the webOS grew on me. I know WM7 is coming out, but i don't like their zunelike OS. Anyway, i like webOS more than i did before!
honestly this update kinda sucks! before the update my phone was already snappy! for ex. sometimes when i slide the keyboard to unlock it it still black and ill have to click a key and sometimes it still wont turn on. never had that prob. before. umm when yu take a pic. the shutter is off frm when the pic is alrdy tooken. sometimes when yu play a video yu shot it skips. i think the battery is worse. oo and it gets super hot real fast! before the update it wldnt get hot as fast as it does now...
i've had blackberry, android, iphone and the pre on sprint and webos is the best os there is, it just needs better hardware. glass screen, bigger screen, thinner, just more premium feeling and looking like a droid or iphone. it is the best os, though.
i really like the new app launch animations, that's a smart way to make the phone seem quicker rather than just show the wallpaper for 5 seconds.
