  • Lmao when i saw the little girl running at the beginning, i thought it was sulli 0_o oh and this movie reminds me of the jo twins lmao xDDD

  • You noe why this movie aint scary. Coz park is too hot so i aint scared i more or less enjoy it XD

  • American horror movie makers should give it up and leave it to the Asian

  • Omo i knew it park shin hye does plays in here no wonder that chick looks soooo familiar

  • Am I defective? This shit doesn't scare me...

  • American horror movies are not that scary. bloody and suspense, yes..but when you really want to lose your brain and to scream like hell, Asian horror movies are the best..i wonder how they can sleep after they film this kind of movie (talking about the actors/actresses and staffs)..grrrr, so scary, i can't even sleep at night after watching these kind of movies..so love to watch but i'm so damn scared to be alone..

  • is that girl in he's beautiful as Go Mi Nyu/Go Mi Nam?

  • @kish21ful yes she is. her name is park shin hye

  • Why's it always a pale chick as the evil person? >:^O

  • You know when Asian horror movies (I know this is Korean, but I'm talking about Asian horror in general) are good when even the trailer gives you nightmares O_O

  • creepy girl with long hair i could totally putt that off!!

  • yeah! asian horror movie rocks.. it makes me crazy.. i really love it!

  • Park Shin Hye?????

  • @MrMamuoi Yup! She starred in this movie! :D

  • idk...the creepy pasty asian girl with weird crunchy body movements is getting pretty old....

  • this was so corny..

  • :D

  • is that park shin hye? XD

  • I love asian horror it never fails to fuck me up l0l. I hope that one day i can write a horror book or film as scary as an asian horror :)

  • why is in every asian horror movie some long, black haired ghost girl?

  • This looks good but I feel like the whole 'girl in white dress with black hair covering face' thing has been really overdone.

  • they copied the ring... and the grudge

  • That black haired bitch needs a new hobby or so dick..you see her in ever japenese horror flick.

  • In the old days in Korea (i.e. the story setting) it is customary (more like essential) for girls to have really long hair and wear pure white sleeping gowns. White is also a traditional colour of death, so it does make sense as to why many of the ghosts seem to have similiar attire.

  • @anonymous1415 THAT IS CORRECT

  • yah

you want to disable them to think

    but not thirst for blood

  • Ok, why does most asian horror films copy the grudge?

Does all females ghost had to have long hair that cover

    their head?!!!

  • @LoverGothicGaaraKai

I think they copied The Ring XD

  • I love you Park Shin Hye

  • No matter what she's in...Park Shin Hye is still gorgeous.<3.

  • Why does this remind me of the grudge and the ring?

  • i love characters with extremely long black hair that cover their faces OuO

  • O.54 URG!

  • why is it so hard to find these movies?! seriously

  • When is it set? Everyone is wearing old fashioned clothing.

  • @TheWonderfulWombat ....the time is during the Chosun Dynasty. AD1392 – AD1897.

  • This movie reminded me of my sister, ah memories =))))))

  • oh yea. so gonna see this

  • well at least my twin is not evil ^.^

  • kinda : the grudge

  • okaaay this is creepy but it reminds me a little bit on Project Zero 2

  • this movie freaked me to death...reminds of sadako really!

  • omg is that park shin hye?!

  • This Is Why All To Everyone! If You Watch Any Of These Movies...Yep, You Freaked Out About Next 5-9 Hours Night To The Morning :(

  • I have seen many Asian horror movies, but none of them were scary.Interesting, yes.

  • girl with white skin/clothes and pitch black hair falling to its face... hm... where have I seen that before....?

  • It's almost the same as the Philippine movie starring Judy Ann Santos...just forgot the title of that movie.

  • @barefootcontesse do u mean KULAM aka MAG-INGAT KA SA KULAM?

  • park shin hye....

  • i will never EVER again watch an Asian horror movie x_x

  • is that park shin hye?

  • @SingStepz she's from tree of heaven, right?

  • The only reason why I watch asian horror movies is because they get me more than american movies do and plus they have good story lines but man the only worse thing is I have to deal the scary features.

  • If your Asian, probably from China, Japan Korea etc...

You will understand how these are scary.

But for Westerners, its hard to explain.

  • part 2 - They think..the more blood and filth the more it will frithen the people.NOW asian horror will scare you just by looking at the cover of the DVD and you diddent even seen the movie yet, its just insane, they can scare the fucking shit out of you and leave you with trauma's..now Thats true horror!

  • @BlazingStyle PART 3: AND WHEN EVER THE AMERICANS DO AN AMERICANS VERSION OF AN ASIAN HORROR FILM, IT'S NOT SCARY. THAT'S WHY ONLY BUY ASIAN HORROR MOVIES. I AGREE WITH BLAZINGSTYLE

  • part1 - Now, here is the problem: American horror= sick, grose, discusting and gore. Its not even horror its just filthy and discusting. They show you maggots and they think it will frighten you..nope..it will make you puke.

  • @Norbi224466 American men are like Asian girls. This is my theory. In America, it is 'ladies first'. Now I don't know about other Asian cultures but in Korea, it as been 'men first' for a very long time. There are not a lot of possibilities for women, not the kind like men in Korea. If a married couple was to divorce, the mother do not get the kids.

  • They go to the father, even if he is a alcoholic bastard. Culturally, women go through a lot of hardships, including betrayal in many ways and it is they who are sometimes seeking revenge.

  • I've been watching Korean horror films since I was little and the ones that take place back in the historical times scary used to scare the living crap out of me. Still does!

  • 0:51 OMG GHOST RAPE!!! XD

  • where can u this movie at it seems good

  • That movie makes me feel "The Ring"

  • @Deadlyzona Nah the grudge haha

  • @KenshinXRikku Yeah The Ring or The Grudge :)

  • The appearance of the female ghost with long black hair, or Onryo, is a classic depiction of Japanese spirits dating back to the early 1600s. Not every Asian ghost is a rip off of The Ring.

  • when I firsts seen this this reminded me of the movie called The Rings

  • i'm fed up of the girl with long hair, it's always the same thing and it's not scary at all

  • @3anaurv2 you got the point here, all demons/ghosts are always long haired and they are girls in asian movies, i understand its becouse the yare based on they culture and myths but come on, where are the bad guys overhere?

  • @Norbi224466 They're vampires just kidding. But there is a "bad guy" vampire in the movie "Thirst." I haven't seen anything but trailers but I've heard it's very good.

  • american horror movies is not horror its brutal..

and i dont know why they call it horror when it brutal killing people..

thats why they remake some asian horror movies..

asian movies are fucking great!! :)

  • I can say one part in this movie that haunts me is the black sesame seed bath "shivers" eww

  • Dear Amerr-icans. The reason why all the ghosts look like the ghost from the ring. it's because all of them are Onryos. Look it up it's part of Japanese culture.

  • @SimplyLoki Yep that's true and why it became a part of horror movies including "The Ring." It's always been there and probably always will some bit.

  • same shit like the RING same old dumb bitch in black hair.....

  • English, please!

  • all the ghosts in asia has long black hair...

  • what's with the "ring"type girls all the time!

they don't scare me, besides i want scary monsters ripping out guts... not alot of talking

  • @dscrd1

then go watch american movies -.-''

  • @dscrd1 Go watch Kemonozume then.

  • @EvilCrazyElmo i agree but we our filipinos and we dont make such as scary as other asian movies

  • where have you been all my life!

  • Asian horror movies don't scare me, but American horror movies suck so I watch Asian ones, better stories at least

  • but tbh not hating on asain horrors but it can be stereotypical as well like its a story about a woman or girl thats been killed and it haunts a place where they like twitch around and move like a robot (but still fucking scary) and its always a woman who saves the day.

  • makes me wanna play fatal frame xD

  • Lool , i had to keep on pausing it .(: i'm asian and - ok , i'm not really scared - but it's the music that i hate . i grew up watching these kind of films , the plot gives me teh creeps but it's the adrenaline rush that i get when it goes , " na nun na nun " or "Dun dundun dun " it drives me insane .

  • ghost girls with long black hair and gowns have been in asian movies for a very long time, i grew up watching asian horror movies (specifically korean) with those types of ghosts, its a very common thing, and the ring or the grudge weren't the first ones to use that kind of horror. its part of asian folklore and that's the way we depict our ghosts. And they still haunt us in movies, they still creep me the fuck out!

  • love Pask Shin Hye.

  • The problem with asian horror movies are that they are 99% about ghosts

  • this movie is much scarier than the other movies i 've watched

    love you PHS

  • wat is it with asia and samara like charactors

  • @twilighter4356 Haven't you even heard the word culture? If you learned them, you would know.

  • @Anya20879 yh i know but its a retorical question

  • This reminds me of Fatal Frame for some reason even if it has nothing to do with the game haha

  • asain plot might be better (even though it always remind me of the ring or the grudge) in MY OPNION i say americans grapic and bloody gore stuff are much better than the asain

  • You know when people may say other countries movie sucks & its gay . What would happen if your in that situation?Wouldn't you be shitting in your pants? tsh i know i would. And if I have any grammatical errors don't go grammer nazi on me kay?

  • this is sorta like the untold grudge

  • the ghost is so tall :))

  • The ring, the grudge, the evil twin.... good movies but all the same...

  • @Pompejii i agree very good but the same

  • the female ghost with the long black hair, white skin and white dress is a atandard

in japan and and other asian countries, they are called yurei.

  • Sure asian horror movies are excellent and much better americans counterpart, but they are all the same. Watch Ring series, then The Grudge and play Fatal Frame games for PS2, after that its just repeat.

  • any movie have in it a creepy asian dead woman with long black hair am gonna see it :)

  • pause @ 0:10. she looks like the grudge

  • @popfreak12 all the asian horror movies {have the same person {{grudge, the ring etc.

  • again with the grudge girl!!! >.<

  • @jks11235813 because grudge girl is scary than everything, even zombie, well idk about zombie, lol which is scary zombie or the grudge!!! i pick the grudge.

  • @HamsterClawz definitely. she rocks.

  • @jks11235813 maybe bcuz that's how they portrait a ghost girl?...the background stories are what attract some ppl-like me- to those movies.

  • @dhantta no i know i like it too, i think they're much more creative than american movies (where it's always a bunch of "teenagers" getting slashed by some freak), but it's funny because i've been through some trailers in youtube and it's ALWAYS the same girl that crawls out of something and has black hair... just pointin it out :)

  • park shin hye!!!

  • What is the story about?

  • i really love park shin hye!!!♥♥

  • Westerners (people like you who are reading and understanding every English word I type) arent scared by American/Western horror movies because you know they're impossible in the reality of your culture.

Y'all only get scared when you watch a horror movie based on another culture, cuz thats when you lose all logic and reasoning, which are things you've not associated with outside of the West

You can all disagree with me, but subconciously you're saying yes =))))

  • @UtubeCreature

That's where you're wrong. I love watching Asian movies, but none of them have scared me at all... And subconciously I'm saying no. I'm not that hard to scare when it comes to real life, but when I watch a horror movie it's like a comedy to me.

  • @UtubeCreature - people from the East who've learned English can read and understand every English word you type too! I think both Western and Eastern movies are good, but I definiately prefer Eastern. Your just saying a ghost movie made in America won't scare Americans but if it's made in say Japan then it should scare Americans? Different culture and customs don't make them unrelatable, Isn't that like saying an asian person can only empathise with another asian person? Shame on you!

  • @UtubeCreature Uh no. If you understand the culture and history etc it makes it even more scary and realistic. Asian horror fucks with your mind in amazing ways. Even the non-gorish movies like "Whispering Corridor" can be a pretty good mind fuck. For ex I used to never get the whole long, black hair thing but after researching it some you understand where it came from and it makes sense with the story. You gotta get the culture to REALLY get the story whether it's Korea, Japan etc.

  • @UtubeCreature

Thats true in the case of supernatural horrors. However, thriller horrors relating more to the brutality of the human psyche are very real - if someone can think of it, someone is capable of commiting it. The human psyche is fascinating, and terrifying.

I think the real appeal of foreign horrors is that they're a 'culture shock' to us. Look at english remakes of asian horrors, they're generally subpar in comparison because a whole part of the story is lost in translation.

  • Isn't this the same with the The Ring?

  • ooh park shin hye is in iiitt

  • Oh man, I got nervous just watching the trailer. The sound effects are awesome and the screams actually sound authentic.

  • OMG its the actress from drama YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL!! lool awesum

  • Asian movies kick ass!

  • asian ghosts are so fucking scary in those white dresses with long black hair and they always snap their backs so they stand in a fucked up pose.

    Jezus.

  • @CardChanger lol You put that in such a funny way(^_^)

  • @CardChanger i secretly think they are all some sort of acrobats the way hey move and all..

  • @CardChanger Let me tell you, it doesn't have to be an asian ghost to scare me by lurking in my tub and suddenly rising out when I take a bath.

  • Where can i watch this movie?

  • Freaky!!!! (and cool!)

I just made a music video about my evil twin, it's featured on my channel if you'd like to take a gander...

  • Really boring, cliche movie...

    ...

  • Kinda wanna watch this does this take place in the olden days?Is it a good movie?

  • is this movie scary?

  • I love Asian girl with long hair, it's so scary.

  • anyone knows any good asian horror movies? I have seen most of the horror movies. I can't find any more good ones. I just saw Silk yesturday.

  • Have u seen "shutter?". I think that's the bestt one soo far.. I havent seen any other ones lately.

  • parshinye!

  • love it movie! some scary stuff and very sad ending!

a mother's love to her children should be equal! i hate favoritism!

  • @eternallight351 thanks for the spoiler dude... now i guessed the whole story.

  • a unique, offbeat sense of humor. I saw this film free @ Movie Watcher. US

  • Since there are so many asian horror movies that has a freakin' scary girl with hair over her face, is doing that a sign of the dead or something? Like hotels and such not having a 4th floor because it's the floor of the dead? I wouldn't be surprised if it was like that. I still can't get over seeing the scene where the girl slowly comes up or pops out somewhere! I still freak out!

  • the trailer paused at 0:56 when i played it.

  • i think its a combination of the ring and the grudge

  • Lol, just because theres a girl with dreadful hair, everyone thinks its Ring or Grudge. Asian girl with long hair is a normal horror haha.

  • Looks like the ring o_o

  • @GeNaBrCr

It's not, the storyline's different. Exactly what it says, a girl's evil twin.. You'd have to watch the movie to understand it though.

  • this movie is same to the ring...

  • Oh my gosh, I'm scared of watching scary movies. I love Park Shin Hye and want to watch her but my heart can't take it when I watch horror movie.

  • how is it that all asian horror movies are FUCK scary then american movies are just the sterotpye horror where its all silent then a face pops up, that's really how they make horror movies

    either that or just gore

but asian movies actually have a plot that'll make you scared

  • @EvilCrazyElmo I knuuuw, they're sooo good with plot. All the manga I've ever read or anime I've ever watched have the most amazing stories ^w^

  • @EvilCrazyElmo Not realy... Most japanese horrer movie just have good plot but then add in Ghost, and wierd scene and it fuck up the movie. Japanese have way more useless dramatic scenes then american movies

  • @EvilCrazyElmo : why is it anyone who isnt american is just a jealous cunt ?

  • Americans are not not so creative in horror than asian.

  • @EvilCrazyElmo

True that, it's not all sex and violence like american horror flicks...

  • @EvilCrazyElmo i totally get ya! i mean, im 14 so all the shitty horror movies are out in america now..the only time america had great horror movies was the fukkin 70s! which obviously i missed out on..shit like the excorcist and magic ..that shit was creepy...now its all nasty and gory bullshit..i fukkin am loving the asian horror movies! wish i could understand what their saying tho >_> but ive always loves japanese ppl <3

  • @EvilCrazyElmo i think its cause asian countries think of things that actually make people scared and they incorparate them into their films. like true horrors that people can only fathom. just a guess.

  • @EvilCrazyElmo i love asian horror movies! they r just great!

  • @EvilCrazyElmo LOL, whenever I hear americans talk about how scary scream or western horror movies are, i smile because asian horror is a thousand times worse. They will literally screw up your mind.

  • @MrStrawhatlegend

Mm...not really. I prefer both, I like American and Asian movies. I've seen some horror Asian movies and they haven't affected me at all. Literally, I feel nothing.

Haha, guess I'm just cold-hearted like that.

  • @MrStrawhatlegend Oh yes. U.S. specifically horror now days is just shitty. The best are from the 80's and after that it's all crap. Especially when they do an Asian horror remake (like "One Missed Call" dear God that was dreadful). But yeah there are some amazing Asian horror that will leave you mind fucked.

  • @MrStrawhatlegend lol yeah, i watched the Red shoes and i've been going to bed with the main light on and keep looking around expecting to see a mangled body :/

  • @Sillilesshells I watched Ju-on and even though i am 20, i could not sleep that night, even with the lights turned on because the movie showed that the grudge could get you even in a well-lit room.

  • @MrStrawhatlegend . thats is so true. I totally agree with you. My best friend and i went to see the american remake of the dark water. My friend said the american version is so scary. I laughed and said, you haven't seen the Japanese version. I love watching Asian horror.

  • @MrStrawhatlegend insidious was pretty scary haha but yeah asian horror movies are really good. Grudge is a fear im stuck with forever, because in my mind shes the main black haired killing bitch

  • @MrStrawhatlegend Too bad you cant understand a word there saying

  • @MrStrawhatlegend scream was horror?? lol!

  • @MrStrawhatlegend even wen they talk bout how scary paranormal is n im like u should see wat i watch

  • it looks scary to me i dont no about u guys but watch the movie bye your self i bet u u guys will get scard

  • It dosen't seem scary but intresting.

  • Hmm youeah i would say it looks something like the rinh

  • this film is good, good. Low budget film didn't mean it was bad. shutter, grudge, a tale of two sisters, whispering corridor all low budget and it was big big great horror film.

  • wow I see a lot of idiots comparing this to the ring. this is NOTHING like the ring. how about you actually watch it before you say that. just because it involves a ghost? there are so many asian movies like that. so I guess they are all trying to copy the ring too huh? this movie is so good and it has a way different story how is it like the ring? I dont have a clue why people are saying that. I watch a ton of korean movies and love them all

  • Not every asian are trying to compare with the ring. Actually no one is trying to copy that. I live in Asia and all the scary things has something with curses and dead people like The ring.
